Headphones drain battery QUICKLY

So far I've had to change the batteries every 2 weeks. Insane! I unplug the headphones from the remote after use. There is an option to use headphones connected to your phone and listen through the Roku app. But the sound quality is very poor. It sounds tinny and robotic. If you're looking at this version for the headphone capabilities, I can't recommend this specific version. But I definitely still recommend Roku streaming devices! I've had Rokus and Amazon Fire Sticks, but started having weird audio sync issues with the Fire stick. Roku has no issues and is a cleaner user experience. The Fire stick is full of ads and the menu can be really slow because of them. I like the simplicity of the Roku menu. It does what I need and doesn't try to get fancy and slow things down.

Please be aware that when utilizing private listening, it is expected behavior to see the remote's battery draining a bit faster than normal. We're glad to hear that you always unplug your headphones when not in use as this will help to preserve your remote's battery life!
It may also help to utilize an alternative power source. For example, if the USB power cable from your Roku player is currently connected to the USB port on your TV, we would recommend that you connect the USB cable directly to a wall outlet or power strip.

Offers many more streaming services, less glitchy, more reliable than smart TVs; plus I've found that companies stop supporting streaming services on older smart TVs (I'm talking about you, Vizio.) . Good value. Would be better if the remote included a shortcut button to YouTube TV, or at least allowed the customer to customize the shortcut buttons on the remote.

I actually enjoyed it. The earphone does not produce great bass when watching music videos but it sounds clear for movie dialogues.
