Much better than the other sticks I've had, or the Express. Took it on a trip with us, hooked it up to mobile hotspot - no problems streaming AT&T TV Now. Hooked it up on hotel with fast wi-fi (consistent 50mb+ speed) and was able to use Netflix, Hulu, AT&T and Disney+ without issue. Great buy!

It has completely changed my TV viewing experience. I have an older samsung where the apps take 1 minute to start from turning on the TV. Now the apps start within seconds using the roku. Also, the wifi on this device is excellent. My TV never used to stream HDMI quality but now it does. The best part is being able to use my earphones so i can watch TV at night without disturbing my wife.

User Friendly

They are really user friendly, set up is a breeze and they offer access to more apps than any other device or service. This is my 5th one, I have them on multiple televisions, and I’ve been buying them since 1st generation and everyone of them still works perfectly.

Roku Streaming Stick Review

I have one on each of my televisions throughout the house. Easy to set up and does not need a shelf, tv stand or mantle to sit on. I like the fact that I can plug it into a USB port on the back of the tv and it doesn’t require another power source. I have tried other streaming platforms, but like Roku the best.

The new Roku is better than TV...

Very unhappy with that one...it's costing me a small fortune in battery's...the remote goes out every 5 or so days.... otherwise it is great... That problem needs to be fixed...I have a 2 year policy on both.... Thank you....

Great way to convert an old TV to a smart TV.

Quick and easy installation. Love the ability to control the TV power and volume with the Roku remote. Wish they would allow you program the app buttons on the remote to different apps as not everyone uses the default apps on the remote. Also wish the remote had the ability to select the TV input/source.

great tech to explore streaming media

There are a huge number of providers, many free; but you have to accept the commercials. If you have subscription services like Netflix, HBO, Stars, etc. This is an easy interface to access them. The voice search is excellent at voice recognition. One thing that needs improvement in the voice search is where the search looks for you query. If you subscribe to a service like YouTube TV, which is a cable replacement, the voice search doesn't search inside the service. It searches inside individual apps. For example, if I say "james bond" the search returns all kinds of james bond movies, some free and other through premium services, but not in my YouTube TV channels. Even if I add HBO to my YouTube TV subscription, the James Bond movie shows up in the HBO app but not in the YouTube TV HBO subscription. Even though I subscribe to HBO through YouTube, the app asks me to subscribe again and won't recognize my YouTube HBO subscription. ROKU and YouTube need to fix this. Otherwise, ROKU works great over my WIFI which has a strong signal where my TV are located.
