Basic Roku stick. Works how it's supposed to. Nothing too special about it.

Perfect for the Mother-in-law who likes to watch TV late at night

Recently our community went to a new cable setup that rendered three of our tv's unusable without renting additional cable boxes at $10.00/no each. We have since bought 3 rokus so we can now use these tv's again. The last one we bought was for our bedroom. The roku remote has an earphone jack and now each one of us can still watch tv while the other sleeps. Works beautifully.

It’s small and portable so I can take it anywhere, and has a nice touch of having a headphone jack for private listening, and also allows me to control the TV volume without grabbing the TV remote. Also the Roku has a vast amount of streaming channels, more than other platforms, it’s search is better than others. I have bought previous streaming sticks before, and I enjoyed using them.

We enjoy streaming with this little Roku stick and remote so much that we bought a 2nd one to use with our Smart TV. Its response time is much faster. Having the voice remote adds to the ease of its use, although we don't use the headphones at all. Roku customer service is handsdown the best... they're there when you need them.

Set up is easy , I can tell it to find what I want. Just wish the remote had more colors.

Nice item. ONLY thing: Be sure to replace the initial batteries that come with the device. Short life batteries -- 2 weeks. When the batteries "go down"...there is a VERY LOUD shrill noise that emits into your ears, if you are wearing the buds. WOWEEEEEE! That was really SMARTS! Other than that...great item.

I've really enjoyed this roku stick.I have an older one probably five years old and this one works great with my 4k tv and my Surround sound system.Two of my grand kids six and seven operate it better than I do.I am going to buy another one for my back bedroom for the grandkids so I don't have to share.I am 66 years old and this my entertainment, very pleased.thx

The headphone edition I thought was a gimmick, but now I can't believe all Roku remotes don't have this feature. When the friends, relatives, etc. come to visit and you want to watch tv when they are still asleep...BAM! the headphone feature comes to the rescue. I can use any headphone, via the 3.5mm output by the way. And if you use a bluetooth transmitter via the 3.5mm output, you are not tethered to the remote.

System was easy to setup , voice commands work well supports many streaming systems.

Pretty handy. Streams everything we wanted and many other options available which we will not use. This model comes with an earphone set (buds) that are nice enough, and can be swapped out with any regular wired headphones. Bluetooth connection let's you play music from mobile device. Remote takes over for tv remote as well so no fiddling with multiple remotes.

Adding the ability to use headphones knocks this out of the park. Insert headphones and the TV volume automatically mutes. Perfect when you have someone trying to sleep, or doing something else; you don't lose the ability to listen while you watch. Yes, it costs slightly more than basic Roku but it's worth it. It comes with descent headphones but you can use whatever you want. I highly recommend it.

My flat screen no longer accepts certain apps, so I lost a lot of accessibility. This device more than made up for it. that fact that I can use this remote to start my tv, change channels, and control volume is fantastic. I thought I was going to have to buy a whole new tv. Plus I can plug a set of headphones into this remote and not have to mess with trying to set up one of my bluetooth headphones .

If you are like me where your smart TV works...... but is slow or laggy with apps just buy yourself a roku before you buy a new TV. It works well. It’s fast. I plugged the 4K roku stick into a power supply using a power cord due to my TV not being able to supply enough power from the USB outlet so it’s small size and sleek built has been defeated by needing to connect to a main power source anyway.

Our Samsung TV is HD but older, about 2014-15 purchase, so it doesnt work with some services like Hulu or Disney or CBS, and this give the smart TV new, longer "life" as it may be totally outdated by today's technology timelines, but a 50" HD LED TV with wireless, bluetooth, etc, theres really no need to update that but for the streaming services we have trouble accessing until now.

I purchased the Roku 4k for my daughter. We also have an older Roku that came with headphones and my kids love it. So, it was a no brainer to get another Roku with headphones. It's perfect if one finishes homework and the others haven't. There's no sound distractions. Just put the headphones on and listen. You can walk to another room, and still hear whats on the television. Perfect gift.

I had it out of the box and set up in a very short time. I have found very easy to use.

I have gotten so much enjoyment and entertainment from my purchase! This Roku was well worth the price! I hope others will not fall for the hack that is on the device like I did! Do not call the number for the access code, they tell you there is an activation fee, that is a lie! I wrote Roku about my experience and haven’t gotten a reply. The device works great and easy to install.
