I had a Fire Stick but it kept saying it needed more power than the TV's USB port could provide, so I had to run a USB port to the power outlet. That was a pain. Plus it was slow. Yes it was cheaper than this but not that much cheaper. This Roku is fast and uses the TV's USB port no problem. Remote is better than Fire stick too. Great product, happy with it.

I have 4 Roku Streaming devices in my home. I use it even in TVs with smart features on them already. I prefer the intuitive user interface of the Roku over the built-in TV interface. This model has an earphone plug which makes it convenient for watching TV in the bedroom when my wife is asleep.

Really happy with this Roku streaming stick. I use it with my projector for outside movies. Especially love that it has 4x the reach for wifi so I never lose signal when streaming movies in my backyard. Also the headphone jack is a nice bonus when I’m watching movies late and don’t want to disturb anyone. Definitely recommend.

Quick and Easy to hook up to television. 4k is great!

I bought this because I wanted to turn an older TV into a Roku TV (I had a second Roku TV already). I really like the interface and ease of installation (it's plug and play). Within the Roku interface, the ease of getting apps makes it quick to get set up and the navigation is snappy once you do. I don't use the headphones, but don't mind that I could if I wanted to.

Love this product, I have a not so old tv that needs an update for chrome so I can watch thru internet, but this old tv of mine just keep on saying update, so I can’t use it I was thinking of buying a new tv but then when I learn about roku. So I bought one now I can stream you tube, prime and Netflix and watch local news. Perfect!!! So happy with my Roku!!!

I bought this because I moved my PS4 from my living room to the bedroom and could no longer watch Disney+ in the living room. I have a Samsung 4K Blu-Ray Player, but it wouldn't upgrade to allow for streaming on apps like Disney+, Peacock, or Discovery+. On top of that, I had constant drops while trying to stream on the apps it did had even though there was no drop in the internet connection. When trying to decide between the Roku and the Amazon Firestick, I went with Roku because I heard how some of the ads on the Firestick could be kind of intrusive. If I'm already paying for something I don't want additional ads. I also bought this particular version due to the 4K streaming. So far it's been great! All the latest streaming services work perfectly and the interface is 10 times faster than what I was using on my 4K player. I also like the fact that you can search a title from the main menu and it will show you ALL the options you have for streaming that show/movie. All in all, for any room that doesn't have a game console hooked to the TV, I'd definitely get more of these.

Picture quality is great and easy to use. Very happy with the purchase.

we bought this because our one t.v. did not have roku or pluto or any of the other programming you can get from this the headphones are nice since the t.v. is in the bedroom and my wife can watch t.v. and not wake me up.you need an extra hdmi cable though i did not know that lucky i had an extra one it saved me a trip to the store.

This device is fantastic. Great, fluid, easy setup and interface. Have spectrum cable which other similar devices do not support. Those other devices aren’t nearly as good despite lacking that app. Love the voice option to say a show or movie and it finds various places to watch for free.

One of the best purchases I've ever made, the only downside is its been difficult for me when hunting for an extra remote with the headphone option all ive been abke tk find is the regular one and the one with voice control. But still great purchase been abke to use the remote app on my phone to use my headphones.

We had an older Roku streaming device so we upgraded to this one so we could get the new features. For the extra $10 the headphones are really nice, especially with younger kids in the house. Either using the headphones when they are sleeping, or when one of them are watching and always wanting the TV loud. Works as stated and very simple to set up and use.

Satisfaction from the start. Ordered online and it was delivered within 2 days. Would have been at least a week to pick up at the store (ugh, Covid). Crazy easy to set up, and it has been smooth sailing ever since. This was my first step in cutting the cable cord, and I am loving it! Fair warning to Spectrum, and their horrible customer service!

This is a nice little unit that gives you all the features of the more expensive models without having to use hdmi cables or plugging it into the outlet. Just plug it in the HDMI and USB ports and you're ready to go. Has tv volume controls and a headphone jack on the remote for late night watching without disturbing the sleeping kids.

I had an apple TV and it was getting annoying for my wife to use as SIRI would always break in and talk. We purchased this Roku and she can navigate it so well. I wish I had started with Roku but having all Apple Devices I thought it best to get Apple TV. Love Apple phone, MacBook’s, iPads and Mac’s. As for streaming....I will now stick with Roku.

Set up the Roku in about 25 minutes. It’s on my Samsung smart tv. Picture quality is great, there is no buffering and it’s easy to use.

This a very handy and my son loves it to watch Disney plus and other apps. Great picture. I love the built in hdmi. I was gifted a roku 5 years ago and that’s when I fell in love with roku’s. I still have that one as well as the new one and it has slowed down a bit but still works like great and provides good picture with the hdmi cord I plugged in.

We were slow to go to streaming video but now that I have we wish we would have sooner. We save money and have more content (that we enjoy) than I did with Dish, Direct TV and Cox. We now have a Roku on every TV in the house. We'll never go back to a cable or satellite TV system again.

Easy to set up and run. Easy streaming, downloading apps. Works with smart tv, easier to use than tv format. No complaints at all. This is the fourth one I bought, got it as a gift for a friend who has no cable. We love the ability to plug earphones for privacy. Would definitely buy again.
