This is the entire Roku streaming device with remote and earphones. With that out of the way, I'm very happy with it. The IR to the television is multitudes improvement over the standard remote. The sound from the earphones is deep and clear with plenty of volume to adjust.

I have the first generation smart tv that doesn't allow you to download apps so, it was hard when my kids would cry because he wanted to watch Blippi in the Livingroom. My first thought was to purchase a new tv but, my sons father told me about the Roku stick. Roku has saved my life! I am able to cook, clean, do homework in the living room with out my kid bugging out!
