It works exactly as expected, right out of the box. Easy to set up. My one complaint is that I needed a long USB A cord to plug into the wall. TV USB wasn’t enough power for some reason.

I purchased the Roku Streaming Stick after cancelling my cable TV subscription to provide "smartness" to my older Insignia "dumb" TV. The stick is very easy to install; it has HDMI and USB connectors. The USB connector supplies power to the stick so it needs to be plugged into a powered USB port. If your USB port isn't powered or doesn't supply enough power you will have problems with updating the stick's software and you'll need to plug your USB connector into a wall outlet connector (as I had to do). During setup you'll create an account with Roku. Unless you purchase subscriptions to streaming services thru Roku, there is no charge from Roku to use the stick. I was able to add apps to the streaming services I was formerly watching via cable TV; no issues. Picture quality is fine; navigating using the remote control is easy and intuitive. This is one of the most inexpensive investments you can make to make your TV smarter!

Roku is an excellent streaming device—easy to set up, fast, and very user-friendly. The interface is clean, and all major apps work smoothly. The remote is simple, and the overall performance is reliable. For the price, Roku offers great value and a hassle-free streaming experience. Highly recommended!

This Roku Stick was very easy to install even on my old TV. Went thru the steps quickly and installed perfectly and even self-corrected when I accidently put the wrong TV brand name in. It works great and I am very happy!

Quick response and streams what you want right away. Clear picture to the TV. Only negative is that the device is constantly quite warm. Doesn’t affect performance. Just be sure it has plenty of ventilation. Remote has extra buttons to control TV volume so one remote can do it all. Very nice and handy.

This is my third Roku Stick, and I continue to be impressed. Setup was quick and easy, and the streaming quality is excellent as always. Setup was very straightforward. Operation is pretty easy and becomes second nature quickly. This was perfect for my friend as a simple subscription to GloboTV allowed her to get the Italian channels she favors and cancel cable service.

Super easy to hook up and set up. Roku stick is out of the way and much slimmer than little Roku boxes. Stick is much preferred and work with any TV that has a USB or HDMI port. We’ll be buying more.

After 30 plus years of subscribing to cable I was apprehensive about streaming. I’m so glad I made the decision to switch to streaming and use Roku. It’s so easy to set up and use.

This product was amazing! I actually have the Roku TV and for some reason it will no longer connect to the internet. Here I am thinking I'm going to be buying my mom a brand new TV when in fact all I needed was to buy this cost saving device. Thank you Best Buy employee! Plug into your TV, follow the prompts, and just like that my mom got her TV back with the apps she loves. Very easy to use, I recommend turning your TV power off when not in use and using a surge protector. I noticed it runs hot but when not in use, she just shuts the TV off and then the surge as well, problem solved. She has been using this for a few weeks now and everything is doing good.

Has worked seamlessly since install. Installed for an older fiend and they have found the Roku platform easy to understand and use.

This is perfect for anyone to use, easy to install, lots of interest for our grandkids, perfect performance, a great price super easy to use and the remote is just perfect and the size doesn't bog us down with too much hardware, We plan to buy one for our son to use with his family

My father is using it to connect streaming platforms to an old TV and to connect Bluetooth headphones too and it's working preetty good. It was easy to set up and is easy to use too.

Requires subscription. Easy to use and povides multiple streaming platforms. The single remote replaces a former mish mash of multiple remotes. Im very satisfied with this purchase.
