My father is using it to connect streaming platforms to an old TV and to connect Bluetooth headphones too and it's working preetty good. It was easy to set up and is easy to use too.

Requires subscription. Easy to use and povides multiple streaming platforms. The single remote replaces a former mish mash of multiple remotes. Im very satisfied with this purchase.

Phenomenal little device - In my house I use all AppleTV's but I didnt want the bulk or the cost for something that I use in my RV - it runs off the USB on the TV, the remote can still turn on my LG TVs in there with out HDMI-CEC which is great, and then the TV powers on which powers on the Roku. While it isnt nearly as polished as an Apple TV, I can still do about everything that I did on them, even watch Apple TV :) Primarily I use this for Plex/Jellyfin to watch shows and movies on the NAS that I run in my RV as we can't always count on internet for streaming, and I don't want to take up all of the space for a blu-ray player and media.

Works perfectly, the sharp visual effects are outstanding. Very simple to install. I installed it in less than three minutes. I would highly recommend this item to anyone who wants a better viewing experience for sports, movies or news.

Great streaming device! Many apps to choose from and turns any tv or projector into a Roku TV. Easy setup and remote can be setup to control the tv functions.

I don’t really watch TV much since I have an older one and haven’t invested in a newer setup, but this Roku Streaming Stick was super easy to set up. Connecting it to the TV and Wi-Fi was quick, and signing into all my streaming services took me no time. I’ve owned the Amazon Fire TV Stick before, and while this isn’t a huge upgrade, it does offer better more (small details). Being able to watch TV with my AirPods connected is honestly a game changer. The Roku app also makes things way easier, the remote is fine, but when I lose it (which happens a lot), the app saves me every time.

I don’t currently have a smart tv. This little remote is so easy to install! All I had to do was plug it in the side of the tv and wall plug and I have all the smart tv features! in and you are ready to go! I heartedly recommend this Roku remote!!

This low-cost streaming stick plugs right into an HDMI port which you'll find on almost all TVs now. Set up was easy and very fast. The remote control operates both the stick and the TV after I paired it. I use it for DirecTV, Peacock, Disney and other apps that I was able to download. I liked it so much that I bought a second stick for another TV. The downside, however, is that this "cheap" product doesn't do well with heat. After several weeks of use, one of my sticks disconnected from my home network whenever I turned off the TV, even though I was powering it from a wall outlet. Whenever I turn on the TV, I have to reset it (or power cycle it) to get it connected again. I went over all this with their technical support people, but despite doing all sorts of trouble shooting, including switching sticks between TVs to confirm the problem is with the stick, they still haven't gotten back to me on my warranty claim. In the meantime, I've learned that they are aware of the damage heat can do with these sticks. They offer a free cable that allows you to keep the stick away from the back of the TV, but it can take a couple of weeks to receive. If you are going to try this product, I recommend using the HDMI extender cable to avoid damage.

I bought a Vizio 32” TV several years ago to use as a second monitor with my laptop. I also use it to watch television in my office. It has two HDMI ports and an ethernet port that allows me to stream content from the internet. Recently, Vizio stopped supporting this model and I could no longer stream to it via the internet. So, I went to the local Best Buy to buy a new TV to replace mine; however, when I explained why I was seeking to buy a replacement TV/monitor, the salesman at Best Buy recommended a $29 ROKU device instead. Now I watch Netflix, MBL, Apple TV+, ROKU Channel, FOX One, and local news on my old Vizio; more than I could before. The ROKU device has expanded my viewing choices for much less than the cost of a new TV/monitor. And I didn’t have to take my old Vizio TV to a charity or the dump. I highly recommend ROKU, but would prefer to have the ROKU with a voice commend device. It is too slow and easy to make a clicking error when entering email and passwords with the ROKU device I purchased.

Roku is the best. Small, convenient, simple and easy to use. Works with any TV with HDMI.

I expected it to be more complicated than it was. I got all 3 tvs hooked up to roku in no time. The platform is really easy to use. I'm glad I made this choice. Only flaw is, I wish the remote was backlit.
