Total Surprise!

It really did help an old TV that I had with slow internet service. The remotes all tied into the 1 Roku remote and life's been good. I would recommend paying extra for the nicer stick.

Roku Sticks just work.

Good but no Dolby Vision

It plugs into the USB port on your TV so it's not on when the TV is not on. This was appealing for a small TV that doesn't get much use. The difference between this model and the 3820R2 is the latter has Dolby Vision and this does not. I did not realize this when I bought it but I don't need it for the small TV. If you don't need Dolby this is a good and slightly cheaper alternative.

I prefer the ROKU system for my streaming platform. This is a small, convenient way to get it without upgrading my TV. Set-up was smooth and effortless. Well worth the price!!
