Roku picture quality is better and the audio doesnt get out of sync like the firestick did. Really like the lighting on the remote keys and the find remote feature.

Picture excellent. A few differences from old model, doesn't seem to save old videos as well. But overall quite happy with performance.

Very responsive, has HDR capability, and 4K streaming. The remote has voice control and is illuminated. Would totally buy another one. Plus, it's not too expensive, yet if you get it on sale, it's an even better value.

Several times a week there is no picture and I have to reset the Roku which becomes annoying. There is also a question of longevity or maybe planned obsolescence as this is my third Roku in three years. It is easy to set up, easy to use, and provides a great picture. It gets 5 stars for being user-friendly and picture quality but loses some stars for resetting and longevitity.

Please try to check the HDMI cables. If they are firmly plugged into the TV, it's best to plug them into the HDMI ARC for the best audio and quality picture, ensure that the device is running with the latest software version by going to Settings> System > Software update. Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had been using my Sony Smart TV and my Dish Network Satellite Box to play the apps I subscribe to. However some of the apps would function better on one of these two devices than the other. Example --- For Netflix sources having Dolby Atmos audio the Sony Smart TV would play Dolby Atmos through the 5.1.2 speakers where as the Satellite Box would not but the Sony TV's remote has limited playback functionality. So, I decided to add a full blown streaming player to my system as a single go-to for playing my apps and the Roku Ultra reviews and write-ups suggested it has top notch audio and video outputs, a great remote, and excellent functionality in playing apps. I purchased and set up the Roku Ultra and agree on the audio and video outputs and its remote but its functionality in playing at least some of my apps is less than that playing them using both the Sony Smart TV and the Dish Satellite Box or on one of the two. Example --- In playing my Amazon Music Unlimited app on the TV or Sat Box the song choices display their audio quality and when a song is playing its track quality can be displayed. Not so playing the app on the Roku. I am back to needing to use the device that best plays any particular app. I wasted my money adding the Roku Ultra to my home theater setup for the purpose of doing so, but otherwise it is a very nice device.
