But the reason I bought it was so I could use the USB port with a 1 terabyte drive I have to show family videos. We formatted the drive several suggested ways... but it would NOT play. I wound up trading my new 2024 device (with a friend) for his 2019 version of the Roku Ultra -- which worked just fine. (Apparently, to get more "speed", the newer device sacrificed some "performance" capabilities.)

Best Streaming Platform by a Landslide

It’s so good I bought another one the stick that’s cheaper but has everything I want . The Ultra has a ethernet port so you can hard wire it but the Roku stick is blue tooth only

Had Directv for over 15 years, and calculated that we spent close to $15,000 to watch TV, just with that alone. Roku Ultra was incredibly easy to set up. Love that it came with an HDMI cord. We've had no issues for the 2 weeks that we have been using it. I will never go back to cable tv!

Uninstall those and get this Roku Ultra streaming device. With this Roku you'll get better picture quality and sound quality with none of the buffering issues from the preinstalled apps on your smart TV.
