Good Roku device. I find the new remote annoying though because you have to recharge it through an included USB cable; just one more cable to add to your nest of wires. You also have to "Accept" the agreement that Roku will be listening to you because of the built in Voice recognition aspect of the remote even if you don't use that "feature." But I appreciate that you can hardwire this Roku to your network with a LAN cable.

I absolutely love my Roku! It’s incredibly easy to use and navigate. I’ve wanted to cut the cable cord for years but kept putting it off—wish I had done it sooner. Roku made the switch painless and totally worth it. All my favorite streaming apps are right there, and setting it up was a breeze. Highly recommend if you're thinking of ditching cable and going streaming! To be fair, I'm using Roku on an older, flat screen TV which is not a Smart TV, I am not sure I would use or need Roku if/when I get a Smart TV. My one complaint is with their Live TV, I am unable to choose which episode I would like to watch. For example, The Goldbergs plays on Roku's Live TV, you'd think they would also stream The Goldbergs and one would be able to choose the episode to watch, I haven't found how to do that, or if it's even possible without using another app within Roku.

had a TV with a different operating system that was always buggy and caused issues, i have always had great success from the simplified Roku setup and since the TV was a 4k tv i wanted to keep the 4K use with this roku setup

Excellent product! Our AppleTV was dropping and getting blurry during live events, this has been great so far.

Worth the extra money for this version of Roku-Ultra 2024. The added ability to connect the 3rd party Wi-Fi devices giving the ability for high quality wireless audio. One minor negative is the lack of a numeric keypad on the remote requires the use of voice operations. Not all of the apps are the same and require speaking differently to some of them.

I’ve owned several Roku streamers and this is the best one so far. Speed has improved along with a new remote. Very easy to use and lots of free things to watch on Roku channel.

A great purchase. This device is extremely simple to use, and allows all streaming apps we subscribe to, to function with the same level of ease. This is extremely important for my wife and I since we are very old and can be technically challenged at time. The Dolby Vision looks great on our LG G4.

Love this Roku second one I've had. I love the voice command, it is fast as lightning and it's just a step above the regular Roku the remote is rechargeable I love that. It's a couple upgrades that were you didn't know you needed them and tell you found them would recommend this 100 times over it has made such a difference in even my connectivity. Would definitely buy again and Best buy had the best price

Clearly the best streaming device made. Had a fire stick and this is soooooooooo much better. Clearer picture and better sound quality

Bought for a upgrade from older ultra. Works good. A lil faster. YouTube tv looks good. I like the light up remote

I bought this for my father as he has a bit older flatscreen TV that wasn't "smart" like the current TVs. The TV still works good, but this Roku increased the value of the older TV five fold. The Roku was easy to use for my Dad as he's a bit older. Dare I say, this was easier to use than his Samsung TV. 10/10

I’ve had Roku devices for years, but decided to get the Ultra for my new 4K TV. The quality is great, and I can tell the Roku service is faster, but kept getting an HCDP error that I ultimately fixed by getting a better HDMI cable to connect from the Roku to the TV. Now it works great! But wish there wasn’t an issue in the first place.

The device meets our needs as a newer, bigger model. We have had no trouble using it and enjoying it. The remote lights up when you hold it in your hands so you can tell which button you’re pressing. The Roku device itself even feels more heavy duty. All around 5 stars!

I ordered this unit to replace a previous generation Ultra that was glitching frequently; apps would sometimes freeze as they launched, streams would lose the audio or play without captions. This would necessitate a reboot to solve the issues. While this new version seems to function more smoothly, the same issues persist, though they occur less frequently. I'm hopeful that the ongoing firmware updates will help alleviate these annoyances. Overall, it's still an excellent player, and I would recommend it.

It works great my third Roku device, first ultra, the other 2 are sticks and they are great as well.

I've owned many Roku players and televisions. I'm very happy I upgraded to the Ultra because now I can plug directly into the cable modem and every show loads up immediately compared to any of my other players that were only wireless. I even have a whole home mesh system and the wireless players struggle to load content, but not the Ultra. I highly recommend it.

Had to upgrade my Roku because my old one kind of stopped working. I love using it and this one is definitely a big upgrade.
