Big upgrade from past models, wish you could move thru the guide faster. Recording off air channels can be a challenge.

My Hulu and Netflix stopped being supported on my older TV. I bought this Roku, set it up in maybe 10 minutes and everything works great.

This device is awesome! Very easy to setup and use. Display of 4K is awesome too! Haven't tried the audio option yet, but a little curious.

A premium streaming device for all your needs with 4K capability. Headphones are nice for private listening. Would definitely recommend.

It's cheap and works great! Love streaming YouTube Tv and Netflix. I have an older tv and this is exactly what we needed.

I actually purchased 2 of these to allow streaming. I, like many are cutting the cord with my satellite service. With their recent price increase notice, my monthly charge would be $140 per month for AT$T/DirecTV service. No problems at all using the Roku device for streaming.

Very easy set up, user friendly, great quality only negative would be if you bump the remote by accident it takes you back to the home screen.

Plays you tube and lot by more. Missing Google photos, but rest everything, including prime is there. Great 4k picture and streaming speeds l

Easy way to watch all my streaming stuff. Replacement for a first-gen Chromecast, so definitely an improvement. Included earbuds are a nice bonus.

I had an older Roku and it was spending a lot of time buffering. This one is much faster and eliminated the problem. Well worth the cost.

We had older Roku and wanted to upgrade and kept postponing it. Finally got to spend $50 on Blackfriday and got this 4k and working pretty good.

If you have internet and Comcast, you don't need a set top box if you use a Roku. This one can connect with an ethernet cable for higher speeds.

Love it. Never used Amazon fire stick so can't compare to it. I have experience with the chrome dongle, ROKU is better.

I purchased the Roku - Ultra 4K Streaming Media Player while it was on sale and it's worked flawlessly. I've cut the cord totally now.

Purchased this Ultra 4K to replace a Roku 3. Not yet owning a 4K TV yet, I can't speak to the 4K streaming, but did purchase with anticipation of getting a 4K in the future. However, I can compare this model to the previous 3 and Ultra 4K interface seems to be faster and more reliable. It rarely seems to lock up or require a reboot. It is also a nice bonus having the ability to use voice search with the remote. I've tried Amazon Fire and Apple TV and think Roku has the more simple and user-friendly layout.

Maybe your looking for a streaming device!?? Look no further this device is so easy to use better than Apple TV control. Cheaper too!!

Overall good streaming device. I have Apple TV and was looking for another one. The Roku 4K was appealing at half the price of the new Apple TV.

Fast 4k tons of video content. Always had great service with all my Ruko. Newest 2018 model with upgraded jvc ear buds for late night listening .

We are very happy with the Roku Ultra. It was easy to set up and has an interface that is easy to use. We would recommend the Ultra to friends.

This is a great all around player if you are content/platform agnostic. I don't yet have 4K TVs so I can't speak on that, but it does work smoothly and consistently when moving between/within apps. It plays nicely with both Amazon and Google services, which none of the offerings from those two companies can currently boast. Some of the apps and navigation leave a lot to be desired, however. I'm a PS Vue subscriber / cord cutter and I hate that there are no channel buttons or easy way to navigate to the channel I'm looking for. Sometimes it takes 50+ clicks in one direction to get to the channel I want. Voice commands are good for switching apps or finding specific programs, but it doesn't work to navigate to a channel. I think I like Fire TV better for this application, but Roku has Youtube/YouTube TV. I still haven't found the right Android TV box to try, but I have a feeling that it will probably work better for my use.
