Cut the cord, and liked this the best of all the products I tested. Little to no lag when choosing apps. An all around solid product that does exactly what it's meant to do. You can speak to the remote but you won't have your kids yelling at it like an Alexa.

The fastest performing streaming device I own. Easy to use interface and remote. Lots of content available and great 4k image quality. The headphone jack on the remote control is a supercool feature nobody else has...Also love the tropical fish tank screen saver :-)

I bought this to hook up to my bedroom TV , i have 1 on my living room TV and enjoy the variety that it offers on different channels. When the grandchildren come over they enjoy all of the childrens content that is available on it me and my girlfriend enjoy the content of the shows that are offered for us as well. It is a great item and saved me money by allowing me to downgrade my service with DirecTV to a lower price package , i even enjoy the Spectrum App that allows me to watch selected channels. I would recommend for anyone looking to save money and still have the same channels available to look into buying one. The NetFlix app is also another great app that is available on the Device which also includes alot of programs and movies to watch. Also getting back to the Roku itself my Roku Ultra is great because it allows me or my girlfriend to watch our shows with headphones so the other person can sleep.

This is my second Roku Ultra and I will probably by a 3rd. Great picture quality on my LG OLED TV sets. Easy interface and guide. The Roku Ultra has been around for a couple of years but it remains one of the very best streaming devices out there.

Finally able to cut the cord. The Roku is amazing and so easy to use. Faster and easier to control than the YTTV app on the TV. First Roku so wanted to get the best and make sure there were no hiccups but may try out the Streaming Stick+ for an old secondary TV.

I own 3 of these, and love them. I own and have tried many other streaming devices. Nvidia Shield, Other Roku devices, Amazon Cubes & Fire Sticks, WD Tv Live, etc..... All of them have performed relatively well, but i have the least issues with the Roku Ultra 4K. Havn't run into too many issues over the years using this product. With the Fire Sticks and other devices, i would see occasional lag in the menus and things like that. The Roku Ultra 4K also has a larger selection of streaming apps compared to the others. The only other device I would put at the same level as this one is the Nvidia Shield TV. I run the common apps like Prime Video, Netflix, Disny+, Disney MA, VUDU. But where this product shines for me is accessing my PLEX Media Server via WifI. I used to have buffering issues using my Fire products, but with Roku, i rarely have issues.

Could not be more pleased. Picture quality is amazing. Installation is very very easy. Remote so simple but does everything. If cable or satellite bill is just too high; this can certainly happen reduce your cost with same if not better quality picture.

Easy to use. Takes few minutes to set up and ready to binge-watch. Small enough to no catch your eye but when you do it looks nice. Remote is voice activated and is great because I love being lazy. The ear plugs drain the battery in the remote in a couple days.

I already had a Roku Streaming Stick, and I wasn't happy with it at all. So I bought this, and I am very satisfied. I bought the Stick because the TV I used it on was mounted very close to the wall and I didn't think there would be room for a full-size Roku. The Stick is very slow to come on and kind of glitchy. After using this Media Player, I believe I would have found a way to make room. It works MUCH better.

Highlight is the ability to program two buttons on the remote for your favorite apps in addition to those from the factory. Much faster then sticks. If you misplace your remote just press button on home unit to locte. Repurposed my Roku 4K Stick+ to another set.

This unit is super fast and the interface is great. If you're on the fence about streaming options, Roku is always the way to go. Been a happy customer for years. The remote also controls TV volume so you dont need to fumble with a second remote. Two thumbs up.

Roku continues to impress with it's streaming hardware. It has nearly every app, 4K streaming, Ethernet connection, and the ability to plug headphones right into the remote. The interface is simple and highly responsive. Definitely recommend.

Better than all other Roku models by far. Better WiFi performance than all of the other models. 4K sound quality. Head phone jack on the remote allows me to connect headphones and listen to my shows next to my wife while she’s sleeping without disturbing her. It’s quicker to load than the other models. It has much better WiFi performance with the dual band capabilities vs the single band 2.4 GHz models. This means less buffering and faster load times of your shows and movies. Do you live in a apartment with a entry level Roku or other streaming device that constantly buffers? It’s almost a guarantee that you have interference from all of the surrounding WiFi broadcasts around you. If your internet equipment is dual band (which means it has the 5G connection as an option) get this Roku and instantly fix that issue.

I have tried multiple devices from multiple companies, and Roku is way over the competition in terms of ease of use, interface, and supported apps/channels. Don't rely on your smart TV for your Netflix, YouTube, Prime, or Disney+, get a Roku.

It feels snappy compared to the older version I have. I got this one since i'm planning on getting a 4k tv later on, and the 3.5mm headphone jack is incredibly useful for when I wanna watch tv at night without waking anyone up with the volume.

I’ve tried so many different devices for streaming. UHD players, Smart TV’s. But, I always had to use multiple devices, for my streaming services since some apps weren’t available on some devices. And while the XBOX and PlayStation will serve that purpose, I don’t want to run these machines for anything more than gaming. In comes this little, perfect device. I ended up getting this Roku, because unlike some of the other 4K models, this one has dual band WiFi. Dual band is a MUST HAVE. I bought a Roku premier 4K and got rid of it after a day of constant dropped connections. Setup is super simple. The remote even controls your tv power and volume. You don’t even have to point it directly at the tv to work. 4K HDR picture looks fantastic as well! Star Wars never looked so good on Disney+. If your in the market for a great 4K HDR streaming box, this is the one to get.

I got this for my new Smart TV as some fast motion seems to flutter when using Hulu or YouTube TV (sports, etc). This is the case on both of my new TV's (Toshiba and Sony). This is not a issue with my older Sharp Smart Roku tv. I have read that this was not the case with the Toshiba or Sony before certain tv manufactures added updates recently and Geek Squad/Best Buy stated this would probably clear up after Hulu and YouTube TV makes updates on their end. I wasn't going to sit around and wait when this will happen for who knows how long especially with football playoff, Super Bowl and March madness right around the corner. My step son recommended this as a work around solution and it works like a charm !! No delays when watching live TV (especially sports) on streaming services. If and when they make updates, I'm sure I can put this little wonder to work elsewhere.

I got this for my elderly mother to "cut the cord" and ditch her overpriced Comcast cable. She just wanted YouTube TV, netflix, and stream media from my Plex server. Works perfect for her and is easy to navigate. Was easy to install.

I have used many of the different brands of streaming video devices (Roku, Apple TV, Amazon Firestick, Google ChromeCast), and from that extensive experience, the Roku Ultra easily is the best of all of them. It has the most user-friendly on-screen interface, and the remote is excellent; feels good in your hand and is well labeled with buttons that are easy to understand. While the Apple TV streaming device is "pretty good", the remote is not intuitive at all, especially for elderly users. And it costs almost twice as much as the Roku Ultra, and has less apps than the Roku Ultra. And while Roku also makes "sticks", don't bother. The Roku Ultra is much much faster because of its' better processor, so my advice is avoid any type of streaming stick and spend the extra dollars for the vastly superior Ultra box.

I love Roku, I've got three of them, each connected to different TV's. Can connect wired headphones to the controller and get personal listening, or connect to my phone's bluetooth and the Roku app to do the same. Works great.
