Works right out of the box . . . every time. Thanks to staff for the reminder that the HDMI cable does NOT come with it.

The Roku Ultra works very well. With a direct ethernet connection it provides uninterrupted access to all services.

I don't know why but the quality is no longer sharp. I, at first, blamed it on the 4K Ultra machine itself but I looked at an older Roku that was hooked up in my bedroom and discovered it also had changed. Before it was like watching live tv all the time. Didn't look like anything was on film. You could see the flaws on people's skin and see details of the clothes they wore. Now it's like seeing everything as if it's been airbrushed to hide the sharpness. Some people didn't care for how sharp the images were but what a waste now in sharpness for the rest of us.

We were a little sketchy about this product at first. Now that we learned more about it we absolutely love it!

I had to replace my 2-3 year old Roku Premiere+ do to some error messages about HDCP 2.2. This new player works fine and it comes with a USB port (NTFS is accepted as a drive format). The very minor issue I have is that Roku doesn't have DolbyVision.

It is a great streaming device. I would say it is every bit as good as my apple tv. It is very reliable and responsive.
