Not very responsive compared to the Amazon Fire Stick. Needs a ton of improvements

This is better for streaming than the old apps on my TV but not amazing. Remote is really buggy and eats batteries, especially if we use the headphone out and is poorly thought out. The free channels are torture to watch and you are fed constant stream of democrat commercials. So unless you have TDS and enjoy communist propaganda the free channels will provide no value.

Had problems from the start. Kept losing connection and would reboot on it own. Returned.

As expensive as this is, it's a pity it can't play AVI or VOB, sure miss my old Asus OPlay.

The television it is intended for, a Samsung, cannot be programmed for on or off and sound control. I also have a problem with roku powerstick plus on a Sony Tv. It doesn’t work at all with the Sony. An Amazon fire stick works on the Sony, no problem. I do not recommend Roku anymore.

Initially tried to connect to router with an Ethernet cable. Would NOT work. After trying To connect to a known good router port with Three different cables I gave up and connected wirelessly. Works fine with the wireless connection. So far, working OK.

Not as user friendly as fire stick but still good to buy and have when on sale

This device is almost unusable. Every time I watch something on it the sound cuts out for a second every 10-15 seconds or so. I've tried changing hdmi cables and the problem still persists. Internet speed is not an issue either. Save your time and money and choose a different steaming platform.

It's great just think the UI can be better. If it was I'd give it a better score

I bought and returned the roku ultra 4670r 4 times, The issue with these is that they consistently show low internet speeds, starts out at 90mbps and then drops all the way down to 1mbps, which renders using 4k on disney+ useless. Now mind you, I have spectrum internet 200mbps , called spectrum & they confirmed that everything is up to par on their end & that it was a serious issue with roku streaming devices, people calling spectrum constantly to complain about their roku devices not working properly. Not sure if it’s roku’s 9.2 update that is causing the problems, however I have abandoned roku completely and will never buy a roku product ever again. I have since switched to a firestick 4k & the difference is night & day. No issues with firestick 4k at all , This should tell you something Roku , get your crap together or leave the streaming business completely !

I got this for Black Friday and Dint have time to open it right away. I hooked it up this weekend and everything seemed fine until I finished the setup and tried playing a video from Netflix and it popped a HDPC error. I followed the steps to remove the hdmi and turn off devices and restart but no luck. I have Apple TV and fire tv stick going through same Tav with no issues at all. What a piece of crap. Unfortunately since it’s past 30 day window I can’t even return this thing.

Wow, everyone rating this must have unlimited data. Roku has taken away the ability for it’s customers to have any control over data consumption. Mbps used to be adjustable, but updates in the last year, confirmed by Roku customer service, have taken that option away. The only thing one can do to decrease data use is to lower the tv resolution. Changing the settings in the individual streaming apps barely changes anything, if you’re lucky. Those of us with data caps, multiple users per home now have huge limitations. Thankfully I’m still in the return period and Amazon came out with a new generation Cube. Time to return the Roku. I’ll never purchase a Roku product until they give data control, among other things they’ve changed, back to the customer. The Roku forum is loaded with this and other complaints like it.

The unit brings in all the stations well, hoever, the remote constantly loses connectivity to the base. If you take a battery out and put it back it reconnects but 20 minutes later you have to do it again. Based on the number of posts on the topic, I think it is a common problem.

Works OK, Doesn't steam Apple TV completely. Easy to work.
