The roku ultra is a lot faster, has more apps and better picture quality than the lesser models of the roku streaming devices. I enough it a lot!

This is a nice box to add all your streaming services in one place. Every major format is available. The headphone jack is nice, but sound quality is only OK. The earbuds included aren't worth paying extra for. I still like the Fire TV cube better, but this is a close second. Xbox is still the king of streaming since its got a gaming processor, memory, and sound that is miles above what these boxes and sticks can offer, but obviously more expensive and bulky. The Roku is a solid choice to add streaming services to you setup in a small easy to use format.

I thought I'd miss Dolby Vision, but honestly, I don't really notice other than when going through Netflix or Vudu and seeing Ultra HD 4K, or HDR in place of Dolby Vision. The Roku interface isn't my favorite, I do wish there was a continue watching section like there is with Android TV and Amazon Firestick, but that is really our only gripe. The search feature on the Roku is far better that the Amazon Fire TV or Android TV. There have been 0 issues with any apps, especially with Vudu. We previously had issues with Vudu and the Android TV platform.

Purchased this product as our Family Room TV has a built in wifi card and network jack. After a while it was crashing the TV all the time. So we got this device to hopefully cure the problem as Internet TV viewers. Its an awesome well designed device. The application is easy to use and follow. The only thing if you have a 4K TV get the 4K HDMI cable. I didn't believe there was any difference between and HDMI and 4K however the device will cycle off and displays a message about incorrect HDMI cable. New Cable problem solved.

I tried newest gen amazon fire stick and newest gen Chromecast. The Roku ultra 4K beat them all in picture quality and speed. Love it!!!

Bought this unit as a second addition to my home and couldn't be happier. Interface is easy to use, quality feel to the unit/remote, and quick setup.

We owned the smaller and less powerful version of this device for almost a year and are so pleased with it that we decided to purchase a second to replace our Fire Stick. What made it even better is the Black Friday sales of 50% off! Roku is by far the best media streaming device for us. The interface, apps and processing capabilities make for a sweet combination. It is also far less intrusive. The advertising is all about streaming offers and nothing else and the offers are better than anywhere else! If you get a chance buy it, try it you will like it.

Replaced cable TV service with Roku devices on all TVs. Very happy with performance, quality, ease of installation, ease of subscribing to content.

We have an old Roku device, but this is much faster and easy to set up and use. Great unit. It's everything we need to cut the cable.

I purchased this for my bedroom and I actually use it more than I thought. It was easy to setup and the remote is fantastic. Apps are great.

This was easy to set up. Plugged into router with Ethernet cable. Great video quality. Easy to use remote control. Headphones a nice bonus.

Battery life could be better. Easy to use. I switched to Amazon Firestick which i like better.

Have used Amazon's Fire Stick, Roku is just as easy to navigate, even easier. This has a clear picture. Very happy with it.

Love it. Works much faster than Chromecast with TV device that Google sent for free. The only thing that annoys me is when I try to search something within any app by clicking on voice button, it searches the whole Roku content. It's like searching on bestbuy website and seeing the whole content from Google, very annoying, I don't even search with voice anymore. I think YouTube was the only app that was an exception.

Best Roku ever. 4K looks great! Wifi picks up across my house perfectly. Remote works with my Soundbar & voice control is very nice.

Roku is leaps and bound the best streaming media device I have tried... (have been peer pressured into trying others). I recently upgraded to Ultra for the Voice remote and higher picture quality. I use the player with a projector and it works absolutely flawless. I use the IOS app frequently for the remote and it offers great flexibility to moving around. Offers a HUGE variety of streaming channels and is constantly updating it's listings. Not a singe issue since install.

Why do the batteries run down so quickly... maybe after two weeks The buttons do not respond. Two new batteries and all buttons, selections work OK. Maybe a button is sticking, or last program watched does not 'turn off' and run down batteries. This has occurred twice since the Roku was set up and used. Ideas are welcome. Roku Selections seem OK. Maybe 'Acorn programs' are running in the background even when the TV is turned off via the hand held switch. Any suggestions. AA
