AmazonPrime no longer available via our DVD player. Amazon Firestick remote died & more of a hassle/less reliable to operate via smartphone or table. SO, we decided to go ROKU..... great choice. More streaming options than the basic Firestick we had. Got a 30 free trial of STARZ, so we can catch up on Outlander. It's connected to our TV, so it turns on easily & FAST and controls TV volume/mute. We can put our other remote in a drawer. New apps can be added as needed.

Bought this for a family member to replace an old Roku stick and it is a huge improvement in speed and performance

I've been using this for about a month now. Originally purchased because I could not access Apple + on my $4,000 Sony TV. In addition the built-in Netflix App was no longer working correctly and Sony support was unable to help me. It was either purchase another TV or purchase some sort of streaming device. I was able to access ALL of my streaming apps on the Roku Ultra - no glitches. And, it's really easy to use. Pretty much idiot proof. I'm very happy with my purchase!

Directv decided to raise our bill $80 so I started looking for alternatives. We did some research on YouTube and this was rated as the top one. Love it so far. Its saving us over $250 a month. So many different channels and apps it gets overwhelming but happy because were able to watch lots of older programs you normally have to pay for. Only downfall is no local channels but we don’t care. Easy set up and downloaded the app on our iPhones and very happy

we decided to cut our cable due to massive amount we're paying every month.I've been researching between apple tv and fire tv. saw a lot of pros and cons online so i end up getting the roku ultra to use it in our living room. i wasn't disappointed. i already saw the user interface of apple tv and fire tv, Roku's interface is user friendly.easy to set up and operate. i ended up getting a 2nd roku for our room.try it,you will not be disappointed.

i wasnt sure about roku devices but this streamer has everything you need to stream and it works flawlessly

I needed to be able to use Disney+ which was why we got the unit. The system is enjoyable to use and the quality of the image has been very high. It is also very easy to operate as well as easy to connect. I would highly recommend it. I first had the Apple TV system and did not find it near as easy to operate and it was about 4 times the cost with the sale I got on Black Friday. I purchased a second unit for our other tv as well. Very pleased I made this purchase.

Good Unit. Was evaluating this with Apple TV 4K. Want use the Spectrum App. Roku was mor affordable than the Apple TV unit. Could do almost everything the Apple could do. Roku 4K is a solid choice for someone streaming.

Bought this for my mom in law who wanted something simple to use and she can't cast or figure out how to cast things to a tv. I heard Roku was good and wanted to try over the Fire stick I used to use. Could not be happier. So easy for her to use and she is not tech savvy. It's so easy with the layout of the apps and buttons on the remote. Definitely suggest over any fire stick. It is comparable to the google chromecast tv.

This was my first streaming device. After a long education process, learning how to use it, picture and sound quality was better. Considering over the years major entertainment production companies have been moving content out of traditional pay TV services, utilizing Roku haas a menu of content offering better viewing choices.

I've tried a few different brands of streaming devices, but the Roku Ultra is the best for me. The remote is super simple to use and controls the TV power and volume as well. After discovering the Roku Ultra, I got rid of all my other streaming devices and replaced them with Roku because this is the best one available. Roku also has all the popular streaming apps available.

This is my first Roku. Really have love the product. Very easy to use, picture quality is great. Very happy!

I bought my first roku ultra for my living room last year and loved it so much. I had to buy one for my room.

This is my first Roku unit and I’m happy to say that it was very easy to set up (about 5 minutes) and it’s very intuitive to use. The purpose for this purchase is a first step to cut the cord with our cable company that was pushing $200/month for a ton of garbage channels that I never watched. Not sure which direction I’m going to go yet: Hulu and Hulu Live; YouTube TV; Sling, etc. But it sure feels good to cut the cable tv cord!
