This Roku unit is easy to set up and easy to use. Being user-friendly for the not-so-techy person like me, I recommend it and would purchase it again. Also, Roku carries many of its own shows so even if you don't hook up to a cable station or subscribe to streaming apps (e.g., CBS All-Access, Hulu, etc.), there is still plenty to watch.

Makes regular TV quality better. Looks awesome. Love the remote controlling the tv.

I think you get a lot of bang for your buck with this little guy. I don't use the headphones or voice commands but Roku's core competency is more than worth the price. Beautiful picture. Easy to use. Lots of good channels.

This was the second Ultra model I purchased for the home theater room. The first one is still running well in the living room. I have tried to use AppleTV in the past and their performance is quite poor. The Roku blows it away at less than half the cost. Navigating is snappy and the picture quality is amazing. I use it primarily for Netflix and Amazon Prime videos. The remote design is good too. Highly recommended.

We don’t have a smart TV. Our DVD player was our source for getting access to Smart TV. When it started having problems we looked for another solution. Instead of another smart DVD we looked for an alternative. The Roku was an excellent choice. The price was great, very easy to set up and easy to use. The access to a variety of streaming channels is better than before. Also, they offer The Apple TV program. Great buy, will recommend!!!

It installed in minutes and was up and working. A breeze to find apps and set the channels you want.

Recently cut the cable. I bought this for the TV in my kid’s room. I was really blown away by the picture quality. We have a ROKU tv in the master, but the picture quality with this is way better. Add to that some cool features on the remote like voice command and even a port for earbuds and we are super happy with the purchase. I went back and forth with the ROKU and the appletv and am really glad we went with the ROKU.

This is my 3rd Roku streaming device I've bought. The other 2 devices are still going strong. This new one works perfectly on my 4 K smart TV. I had problems with my smart TV staying connected online and when I bought the new Roku device, I've had no problems staying connected. I think Roku is the best of all the streaming media devices out there. I'm going to purchase 3 more devices for the other TVs I have.

I bought this Roku to be able to get Disney+. My Sony tv is one of the first generation HDTV's and I was not able to get the Disney app. This if my first Roku and the ease of using this device is very nice. I was also able to get different videos in Dolby Atmos, which is another reason I went with Roku. Great product and very easy to operate. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to pick up Disney in Dolby Atmos.

I use this on my tv in the bedroom and it’s awesome. Quick to get to apps and super easy setup.

I was looking for a Streaming media device that would allow me to play movies from a USB device. This fit the ticket. Just slide your standard usb jump drive into the side, your roku Ultra will see the input, open the media player and allow you to pick which video to watch. Easy Peasy. The headphone jack on the remote is a fantastic feature and I use it a lot more than I thought I would. Decent sound to.

I purchased this during the Black Friday sale at $49.99. That is about 1/2 of what the usual cost is. I could not be happier. There are so many great features on this device such as earphone plug in, programmable keys, ability to operate soundbar with the remote and ability to use either internet or ethernet connection from device to the router. I would highly recommend this device to anyone who is cutting the cord as I have done!

Easy to set up. Operates much faster than my Roku Express. Wi-fi a bit iffy but I think that's a problem with the wi-fi, not the Roku. Currently use the wired LAN for streaming and it works great.
