Having owned several Roku devices in the past, getting a new one was a no brainer, especially now when the streaming market is on fire. My kids love how easy is to launch Disney plus, pressing just a button or using the mic bult in. The ability of turning on/off the tv with the remote is an amazing extra future, also you’re able to rise/down the volume with it. I definitely recommend this device.

This Roku works great. The only issue we have is when I stream from my iPhone in the living room to the TV in the living room and select stream through Roku, both Roku’s turn on (and the TV in the bedroom that this one is attached to)and since we didn’t give them different names we have to guess as to which one is correct.

All of my applicable apps were available on the Roku (Prime Video, Sling, Netflix, Disney+, etc.) and no longer having to deal with the limitations of the smaller 'streaming sticks' wifi performance and processing pitfalls this Roku device is a blessing. 4k quality looks great, menus are easy to navigate, & the headphone jack option on remote is an added bonus for enjoying audio late at night.

I purchased this to eliminate an Xfinity cable box in our bedroom. The Xfinity Stream app runs great, and allows all the content I'm paying for, including on demand, accessing recorded shows, etc. This device also has a lan connection, to improve on streaming if any wireless issues arise.

I installed the Roku device on my 65” Sony android tv. The android tv control interface is complex and not all that user friendly. I now have all the program options. Roku is simple and very easy to understand and use. The Roku system is the most intuitive system to enjoy television. With that I also added 2 Roku televisions to my households. I highly recommend taking a look at Roku.

I bought a Roku to access streaming services on our "dumb" TV, specifically YouTube TV and Disney+. This model is not only 4K, but also has an ethernet port so I could stream over a superfast wired connection. Roku has so many channels with tons of content available, and this device has great performance. And it was very easy to integrate it with my Control4 smart home system!

Roku tv is the best streaming device in my opinion not only it carries a lot of built in apps, you can download the one that’s not included by simply searching it and download it plus the included ear phones is awesome, can’t list here what this device can do but I highly recommend it and just buy it you won’t regret it, and did I mention the reception is so clear especially in 4K !!!

This was super easy to hook up and use. It loads very quickly and allows me to control the Roku and TV with the Roku remote. The coral reef screensaver is a cute touch. I liked this device enough I encouraged my mom to upgrade one of her old Roku’s to this and she is enjoying hers too. And now she isn’t complaining about having to reset her Roku anymore because it froze. Yay!

Works perfectly with my set up I replaced an original Bose 3-2-1 system with a new soundbar and the roku setup with an HD TV and cable box had minimum cables and produced a clean easily controlled AV setup with a Harmony remote. great setup now with excellent picture, sound, and program selection for music, film and TV at a greatly reduced continuing cost.

This media player this much better than the regular roku streaming stick. I am enjoying the fish aquarium display. It is easy to set up if you had a regular roku. so far no buffering.

Long-time Roku user and now this has the two extra quick launch buttons on the remote which is a positive. 4K streaming is great and timed the purchase when it was only $50. Can't beat that. Only issue which seems to be happening to others based on an internet search is that occasionally I get a split screen on the TV showing two side-by-side views of the Roku home screen in washed out colors. I due a system restart and it goes away. this is a nuisance which may be solved if a got an ultra 4k cable but others have purchased the cable and still have the problem. Roku needs to address this issue. only reason i am rating it a 4 instead of a 5.

Easy to use and hook up great for 4K media. Would recommend to buy this.

Purchased the Roku Streaming Media Player and headphones. Old cable box from other company kept locking up. Came to Best Buy and technicians resolved our issues and we really enjoy the ease of use of the Roku box and it is very user friendly and no lockups like our old setup on other product. Great product.

I purchased this model ROKU because I could connect an ethernet cable directly to it. Operating in that mode Vs WIFI. Doing this solved an issue I had with losing bandwidth and having high packet errors affecting my overall WIFI signal. (My ISP will throttle back on bandwidth at peak usage times, (actually, they have software on their network that moves bandwidth around automatically based on geographic needs. pulling away from one node and moving it to another)). Going hard-wired keeps my signal strong allowing 4K streaming quality. My ISP wanted me to purchase more bandwidth. I did not need more just better use of my current signal. This was a lot less expensive than adding to my monthly cable bill.

We have an older smart TV with limited apps in our bedroom and couldn't use our streaming cable service. Roku turned out to be a great solution and allows us full access to our cable service without having the monthly expense of another cable box. Another great feature is ability to use the headphone jack on the remote when one of us wants to stay up later than the other.
