The picture with this unit is really excellent. I have been using a TIVO up to now along with my rooftop antenna. But the picture is so much better with this Roku unit than my TIVO, it is like a world of difference. It does cost about $50 a month, but I get a bunch of cable channels I would have to pay for otherwise.

This replaced an older ROKU that had limited space and did not support 4K programming.. It works great... Also supports newer WIFI standards as well for better throughput... My old original ROKU still works but this is better. Only negative is ROKU fights with some streaming platforms so no Peacock or HBO MAX ...

Roku ultra is very user friendly platform as it provides consolidated view to a different online streaming services with very simple to use user interface and awesome remote with wireless bluetooth earphones support builtin the remote. this is very good device for anybody who wants to cut the cord (as cable TV) and go online streaming only

I'm in the process of Cutting The Cord and after researching what was available thru other services Roku was my decision and boy, oh boy is it awesome! If you need Disney + this doesn't connect to that but everything else seems to be available. I love Roku! The voice command is super clear and easy! Totally Digging it!

I have an older very slow and stupid smart TV that I use with wifi only. Adding the Roku Ultra is like getting a new TV for $100. It’s so much faster launching the TV and the choice of apps is enormous. I like the Roku Ultra so much I purchased a second one for my son. He’s very happy as well. Well worth the purchase price.

Replaced Comcast box monthly rental fee. Works great, could have some improvements. The picture quality, and ease of use is a definite plus.

I am a big AppleTV guy. And due to cost factor. I forced myself to get a Roku. I am not disappointed. My wife lives it because of the headphones. She can watch tv when I am in bed. She also loves the Roku channel which has a huge variety of classic and up to date programs. Well worth the price.

So I originally had the first roku stick until it stopped working and I bought this model. Initially what sold me was I can turn into a media server and I have been having a great time with it. The headphones with the remote jack is a bonus because now I can watch all my shows at the volume I want without disturbing anyone.

Just started dipping my toes into streaming in order to cut back on cable and I'm pleasantly surprised with all the free programming options. I also have a firestick but prefer the Roku UI. The recent black Friday pricing cinched the deal. The device is fast whether wired or wireless. Bonus: you can also cast from Android and iPhone.

Purchased for my 9 year old great granddaughter. She is having loads of fun with it and it is very easy for her to use. Picture quality is very good also.

Love this! Amazing performance and 4k HDR picture quality without any buffering! The side volume button is a nice feature. I love the free content in the Roku Channel. I was able to watch a free movie that all other streaming providers were charging a fee to rent! I'll be purchasing another one to gift.
