Second Roku

It is a smart TV (fourish years old) but the buffering had gotten intolerable, This works great. I can turn the tv off and on with the Roku remote. If I am am watching cable and want to switch to the Roku all I do is press the Roku remote and it switches right over. (my older model doesn't do that, you have to change the input on the TV it's self) The buffering problem is still there but it is much better.

It certainly opens up new viewing possibilities. I am still working on how to move from one Spectrum channel to another on the Spectrum app. youtube is great and still exploring other services.

Get the option with the headphone jack on the side of the remote. If you're watching an action movie that should be experienced with higher volume, surround sound, etc., plug your favorite headphones into the 3.5mm jack. You'll love the emersive sound experience they way they producers intended you to hear them without having to bother ANYONE else your the home, next door, etc.

It has all of the features that I needed, but more importantly, the 4K aspect of it. I'm also hoping that I don't have to get another device when 8K comes out.

Great image quality and apps

Works great with my Onkyo receiver and 4k Samsung TV with HDR-10. Use the most popular apps at the moment and they keep updating every day. Works well with Google Assistant and turn on and off the tv and receiver. Xfinity app doesn't works well on any Roku device in my house. Loose login information every 3 days and needs to reinstall. But it might be because the Comcast app been on beta for the last 3 years.

On occasion, it it will lose connection if you are using the ROKU app on an Apple device. But in general, it works most of the time without issue.
