The apps on my TV were losing support for updates and bugging out so I decided to replace that functionality with a Roku. I used the streaming stick for a while, but the 4k option on the Roku Ultra is worthwhile if you have 4k streaming available. The remote with the IR blaster and headphone jack are also worthwhile upgrades.

This Roku is great! You can easily program the remote to control your TV in addition to the Roku device, which is an amazing feature! We can watch all of our streaming services from this device, whereas the previous versions had some restrictions. The headphones that plug into the remote are an awesome additional feature, as I can go to sleep while my wife stays up to watch her shows. The only changes I would recommend for 5 stars would be a backlight remote and headphones that connect wirelessly or through Bluetooth.

I purchased this on black Friday sale. I wanted to upgrade my old Roku and yep it was worth the price. I can now watch TV with the free headphones that came with it and search for more apps. The remote control is pretty awesome too. It has volume control, voice remote and to plug in your headphones. I do recommend this HD 4K HDR Roku.

Got this to replace ages old Roku. Old one still works but this one is an updated model and allows for Disney+ update. My son had no trouble installing it and is really easy for me to use. I'm a senior and don't understand most tech products use but this one is really good. This was a Black Friday purchase but would buy it anyway.

I have two of these as the interface is more intuitive than that on even the most advanced Smart TVs. If you have signed up for TV apps as a cut-the=cable customer, this is a great choice. The remote has many more "at hand" features and is much easier to use than the huge ones for the TV. Excellent product.

For the price, you can ditch the need for an extra Comcast with one of these Roku's. I opted for the top of the line one when it went on a great sale and scored big. Really easy to set up and use. Very similar to a Comcast drone box for stream use. But you also get a lot more applications to use at your fingertips.

I needed a new Roku and this was the perfect choice for the main TV in the house. Easy set up & Love all of the Free Channels. The Headphones are nice to use & the Enhanced Voice Remote is great. I highly recommend this product for every tv in the house.

We had a Roku box from about 6 or so years ago. While it still worked, it was cranky and inconsistent. This updated version works like a charm, with the same, familiar interface. And I love the headphones! What a treat when my husband decides to watch MST3K until 3 a.m., and I have to get up for work at 6. :(

Works great. The processor seems fast so there's no buffering. I can't seem to get the Roku memory card to work in it though. Otherwise I love the headphone jack and voice command, especially for my 4 yr old. Wish I could customize the hot buttons. I don't and don't plan to subscribe to the preprogrammed services.

I had purchased a Visio P series quantum TV which is awesome but I’m not a giant fan of the smartcast and it also doesn’t allow access to a lot of the apps that I like to use. This Roku ultra desktop is a wonderful option that took care of that shortcoming. It’s so easy, so fast and you get every app.

This is my 5th roku, I have to have them in every TV I just love the wide market for apps and it’s really easy to use. Plus I like that this one has a remote finder feature and you’re able to connect the roku directly to the router which gives it ultimate performance. Might buy some more as gifts for Christmas.

I like that you can listen through the remote since it's not always practical to hook up your headphones to the TV (I don't even think my TV can do that). No major complains about it. The remote also features 2 customizable buttons for whatever apps. You can get pretty much any app, Peacock finally came to the Roku app store :). Though I'd advise you to check on Roku if you like niche shows or service just in case that service isn't on Roku. Con: One thing I didn't realize is that the Roku doesn't "shut down". It's supposed to be low power that it's better for it to be in standby all the time instead which I didn't realize. I probably should've done more research. The annoying thing about this is that if you are watching Netflix and decided to turn off the TV to sleep, the Roku will keep playing for hours until Netflix finally does its "Hey, are you still watching". So I've now trained myself to hit "Home" and then turn off the TV, a bit annoying.

Roku Ultra media players are great. Easy to use and high quality. The headphone jack is great especially when I am the only one up late, or for when I need to hear what I'm watching when my husband is watching football on the other tv. We have 3 Roku Ultras and my parents have 2.

Easy to set up. Easy to use. Simple functional remote which is nice. Only improvement I see would be a button the the remote to change the source back to the prior HDMI input (eg csble) after use the same as switching to the Roku source from another input by pushing a button on the Roku remote.

The Roku- Ultra 4k streaming Media Player was exactly what I needed in order to stream Disney + and all the other streaming services available to my not so smart older television. It was easy to set up and works great. The remote also comes in handy.

The Roku product was bought to replace an old one. The products work just fine with our big TV and easy to install and use. I will recommend it for anyone that want to buy it, good product for a good price. I also like that I can use the Roku to off my TV as well.

This Roku Ultra not only is high-quality with the latest and greatest software/firmware, but you can plug in enclosed ear buds to the remote control which then disables the sound coming from my audio receiver (or the audio portion of your TV) with fantastic sound coming to your enclosed earbuds. Frankly, I have Bose headphones which I use instead of the earbuds which are good quality too. I love this Roku product. Caution: If you do use the headphone feature, which I do after wifey goes to bed or stays in family room but does not want to watch TV any longer, it will run through AA batteries much faster than if you do not use headphone feature.

Very easy set up with a highly customizable user interface. Has hundreds of free channels and a very useful search function that caries out your search over the entire spectrum of channels, free and otherwise. Try doing a search using the microphone button on the remote. I love it. It's quick and has very good 4k performance, however, I highly recommend that you install the optional micro sd card. I tried it without and some channels and services require a little boot up time. The sd card will eliminate this. I was a little put off by the Remote at first, but it has all the control I need plus two additional buttons that are programmable. I appreciate the idea of having the volume buttons on the side, but the mute button on the side can be a nuisance as it is easily pressed through normal handling. Oh, and this remote is easy to lose. I put the "find remote" button on the ROKU unit to good use. Sorry, I didn't get to try out the included ear buds. I just don't care to have my head tethered to a remote.

Just to be clear, this is very different than having cable. Streaming can be frustrating. That being said, this product works pretty well. It was a very easy and intuitive set up ( have a G mail account ready) . It was really a breeze. The interface is pretty good. Overall it's a good streaming device. The picture has locked up on me. If you leave the same channel on for a long period of time it has just changed to home screen on its own. I stream the YouTube TV . I'm pretty happy with the product.

Third roku device. Easy to use. Enjoy using the head phone on the remote when the house need to be quiet. Like the TV power button and volume control. Only downside - several apps does not work with out restarting. Most of the apps work without restarting. Would recommend this device.
