Great little Roku player, I love this little box it’s even better than the Roku stick I have 3 one for my bedroom one for the den and one for my daughters room. I use it all the time it’s very convenient to have YouTube, Netflix and other channels in one player. So you don’t have to be switching players.

The Roku Ultra 4K streaming media player works as advertised. Of course if you still have a cable tv service it will serve you a little better yet. However you decide to use it, it does work well. I don't have the super fast internet speed that I could have but I can't tell the difference. Nice item.

I really Enjoy the Ultra 4K Streaming Media Player, It is faster and better. Even better if hooked onto the wifi modem. I would recommend it.

The head phone jack on the remote is a great idea.

network connectivity is old. 5g wifi connect maxes out at 50Mb/s on a 1G fiber, and a wired connection is a 10/100 jack, not a 10/100/1000. regardless Roku says it needs 25+ mb/s so the performance of 4k video is unaffected. it does allow MicroSD card for adding app memory, bu oddly that MicroSD card is not transferrable to a new device, it will be formatted and erased as you try, so it's of minimal value. However I got this on an intro sale for a decent price and it has been steady performer, last ultra I owned lasted 2 years before flaking out.

This player of streaming video Chanels seem to work quite well. It was easy to set up and use; taking only less than 10 minutes.

This was bought as a replacement for the last 4K version of the Roku. This is, by far, the most stable Roku we have used. Responsiveness is much better than devices of the past and it works very well with our Logitech universal remote.

All the TVs in my home have either built in Roku's or add on units like this one. I like that I can have the same UI on all my TVs even if they come from different vendors. My biggest feature ask would be if it would syncronize my dashboard and apps (except for the TV specific apps) between all my devices.

Ultra added features are worth the added price over the basic Roku. Voice activated search works very well. I ask for a movie and EVERY time it recognizes my request and finds the movie and providers immediately. The port on the remote for the JBL headphones also works well with other headphones as well.

This is my second Roku. They work great and I have no complaints. The JBL headphones, however, suck. They are "slippery" and not contoured to fit in the inner ear like my Apple earbuds are. The JBLs keep falling out of my ear. Plus, their sound is somewhat muffled. Simply put, they are just not good. Avoid! Just use a pair of Apple earbuds, with a 3.5 mm jack (not the lighting jack) and you will be satisfied.

I actually purchased the model before this one for my Family room and had got another version for my master bedroom. It would work okay with some weirdness so I decided to get this one when it was on sale for Black Friday. Love it, no issues, slim simple design and tons of features. I highly recommend this model!
