Needed an upgrade. Was lookin for a faster start and a faster channel loading as well as a better picture quality. It delivered.

Easy to set up and easy to use. It was quick an easy once I opened the box. Simple instructions guided me through the process.

Love the roku, my concern is that using headphones with the remote eats up the batteries. Have to replace too many times.

We have had several versions of the Roku players and this one has by far the best reception of any one out there. Seamless integration of apps, and the remote headphone option really makes it easy to watch TV in the evenings without keeping your partner awake. Overall a very good value for the money.

This is my third one. They get a little faster each year with new hardware updates. Software updates are automatic. I love that they don't get involved in the war between Amazon, Netfilx and Disney. You can get every app. Interface could better, but most of that is the fault of the individual app developers.

Bought this to replace an old Roku 2 which couldn’t handle the download speed I needed these days. As soon as it was installed I checked the speed and it was 7x faster with no other changes to the network. Simple setup and friendly user interface as all the Roku’s are known for. Very happy with the purchase.

We stream lots of content owned and from subscriptions. We also use it with XFinity cable. We have complete access to live and recorded content from XFinity. The Roku offers a lot of bang for the buck. We even use our EarPods with the Roku app to wirelessly listen to the TV flawlessly. Tough to beat really.

Love the extra shows we get with the Roku channel as well as the other channels that come with it. And my wife appreciates when I use the headphones when she is working so I don't disturb her. Another great feature is the network cable connection so you can have a direct connection.

Easy to configure and setup. All most all major steaming apps available. Roku mobile app is an bonus feature

Roku devices are solid and this is no exception. it replaces a FireStick that was anemic and would freeze all the time. Since moving to this Roku device I 've had zero issues with anything I throw at it including Prime, Plex, YouTubeTV, and Netflix. Just go get one and thank me later.

Totally happy. This device was purchased over the others because it is supported by Spectrum. I can see why, especially for older (10 years) High Definition TVs that do not have smart technology or native WiFi capability. It works like a champ and is pretty intuitive to setup and get rolling.

Using Rokus to eliminate the cable box rental. I got this because it has Ethernet connection but the dual band WiFi is amazing. This box is on the other side of the house from my modem but has great signal. I’m eventually gonna cut the cord altogether and this will be what I’ll use.

Got this for my son and his family. They had an old roku....wanted to add Disney plus...wouldn't work on old one ... works on new one! They really like the headphones...it was on sale at half off...so great price! Going this route is so much better than having cable...cuts your monthly bill in half!

I'm very happy with the Roku ultra. I've tried all the streaming devices and now that roku has HBO max I think it's officially the best device on the market. I'm interested in trying the new chromecast now that it has app support but for now I'm happy with my roku.

I bought this for my son, who uses it for his second TV in the basement. This allows him to use the TV without any additional cable or cable controller, using the Xfinity Stream app. He can turn the TV on and off from the Roku controller as well as adjust the volume. Very satisfied.

My parents wanted a media streaming player and it was either this or the Amazon Fire TV stick or cube. This was on sale at the time they were looking for a player and so my dad got this unit. They like it. It has a lot of content to choose from and they are content with it.

Not as fast loading as the Apple TV box but the remote is much better than the Apple TV. For the price, Roku is a much better value.

It works great with only a little trouble. It’s nice and heavy and controls my tv pretty well when things are connected. The thing that I dislike is that sometimes I have to take the back of the remote off and wiggle the batteries in order to get the remote to not freeze up. Also the microphone button keeps popping up every now and then on the screen even though I don’t hit the button. I think it’s because the play/pause button is just right above it and it is too close.

Every channel imaginable, and then some! LOVE LOVE LOVE IT! We bought 3 units, the Ultra and 2 smaller units, and FIRED IXFINITY! The money that we normally spend on cable, we spent on these 3 units, and have everything on ROKU, that we had on cable...at a FRACTION...of the price!

The Roku Ultra is an excellent product, I strongly recommend reviewing features of each Roku model before purchasing to be sure you are getting what you need. Roku provides videos on the web showing how to set the unit up with your TV, so easy even I could do it right the first time.
