We decided to upgrade to a 4k Roku to match with a new 4k TV and it is working great. Able to use the Roku remote to turn the TV on and off as well as adjust the volume. With the ear buds plugged in I can watch TV without the sound volume bothering others.

Thank God I discovered the ROKU! I finally cut the cord on cable and havent looked back. Best decision ever when it comes to how I consume my television. Just beware not to pay anything extra to unlock any features if prompted.

Gifted this to my mom for Christmas and she was ecstatic. Of course, having all my accounts logged into it probably helped that. This was very easy to use and to set up. The phone functionality with this could use some work, as the keyboard option gets screwy after you type in one line. Not sure how to fix that, but it hasn't been a problem since she hasn't used her phone with it. The fact there are headphones for the remote, and that mutes the TV sound is amazing. Her BF can now watch shows when she's trying to get some sleep and if won't keep her up, and he can be surrounded in the full glory of decent bass. I'm sure you could use your own, higher quality headphones with this instead of the stock ones it comes with, but for her it was not necessary. No more turning up the TV to ungodly levels just because someone is cleaning in the other room. Just plug in the headphones and go. This is a great streaming box, except it could use more app options. The menus are easy enough to navigate, but can be an issue for older, less technologically inclined folks. If getting this as a gift for someone less tech savvy than you, be prepared to spend a half hour helping out with navigation. other than that, it's a great product.,

Used AppleTV and it had some flaws and issues connecting for certain programming/apps. Used a Roku Ultra and BAM! Super easy setup no issues w apps or programs streams in HD. I actually purchased a second on for another room. No Brainer!

I decided to switch from Apple TV to Roku for several reasons. So far I’m really liking my new Roku. The remote is the easiest to use I have ever come across plus I was able to sync it with my TV with literally a press of a button. So far so very good.

I love the Roku streaming devices. Easy to use and streams flawlessly. I got this to use Ethernet for a stable and fast internet connection. I stream live tv as well as Netflix and movies and I never have any issues. Highly recommended.

Unit has a USB input which does play movies. Streaming from my desktop or the internet is seamless. Easy set up and use. Bonus Headphone Jack on remot. This is the only Media player that I found that is simple to use and has a USB input. Good buy.

Does everything I need it to do and very easy to set up. I added it to an old Vizio 4K TV and it's like a brand new TV. The Roku OS is tremendously better than what was on the Vizio. Also, the Roku remote controls the TV power and volume.

Roku-Ultra 4K so far has been an excellent media streamer. I had a Roku prior to buying this one and it lasted almost 4 years. I really like the enhanced remote that comes with JLB headphones for personal listening and was easy to set up.

The quality of streaming is awesome. The remote is friendly and easy to use once you follow the steps. A great variety of Channels which offer a great amount of Free Channels.

I was looking at a firestick and I am glad I bought this instead. It easy to use. I like the format. I like the option of being able to use headphones, if needed. Tons of apps to download. I love it.

I love this player so much that I have replaced my other brand players with them. Really easy to use and I love the fact that it comes with headphones to listen from the remote, never thought I’d use that feature that much but I actually do.

The Roku Ultra 4k was the best upgrade for streaming TV. The built in apps on my Samsung TV were getting slow and no longer being updated. This unit replaced all that and still remains fast and snappy for over a year of use.

Recently cut the cord with our cable company and wanted to upgrade our living room Roku. This is a great upgrade. I love the headphones that can be used to watch TV late, the setup is very easy and the system is just what I needed.

I have owned the first Roku for some time on the Basement TV. We switched to online streaming with our provider instead of cable. Firestick (On the upstairs TV) wanted us to get an app for each and every channel (about 45 of them)! Roku could bring in the app from our provider and it was slick. Only have used the voice commands a couple of times but that seemed pretty easy also. Easy set up and easy to get the apps. I had a micro card in it early on, but I needed it for something else and occasionally I’ll get a message saying it would be faster to have one. However, by the time I click on the message, it has already brought up the app so I still haven’t bothered with putting another one in.

Best tech item I have purchased in some time. Easy to set up and works flawlessly. This media player replaced my cable box and saves me$10 power month with the spectrum app. Blows away the firestick that I bought last Christmas.

I have owned a few roku devices but this latest edition is the fastest and smoothest running device hands down. My family and i use it every evening to watch movies and shows. No headaches no restarting or bad clarity it just works.

When my Comcast bill hit $242.00 I had to make a change! I asked the young IT savy guys at work. They all had either Roku or Firestick (majority had Roku) and were very happy. I took a deep breath and went into my Best Buy, asked their Associate who also recommended Roku. It was non-stressful and fairly straightforward, even for a Grandma. I had all 5 TVs, my internet and my cellphone and IPad all switched, up and functioning within a few hours. Taking my time and moving from room to room and item by item went more smoothly than I ever would have predicted. I am now several weeks post switch and I even went back and bought a Netgear Tower (modem/router) to eliminate the monthly equipment fee. I couldn’t be happier. (I did keep Comcast internet. It is the best, according to everyone).

My wife and I have an older Samsung TV (the year model before they started including YouTubeTV in their provided apps), and have been talking about cutting the cord for a while. We finally settled on YouTubeTV and also stream Hulu and Amazon Prime. We determined that a Roku was the platform to go with for this particular tv. We had initially bought a Roku Stick which worked fine, however did have a little buffering. We believe that this is due to the TV being far away from the wireless router in the house. The stick does not have a plug for Cat5 or 6, so we decided to purchase the higher end box to allow us the hardwire option. So far, there has been little buffering and the picture quality is great. I really havent ventured out on the voice features, but it has served my needs well so far.

Fast, responsive, intuitive. I had to purchase this as a replacement for failing smart features on my LG television and wow, even if your smart features are working this does it all so much better and so much smoother!
