the roku ultra has worked well so far, easy set up-

Overall, we love it. Many channels to choose from. There are a few annoyances. From the ROKU menu it appears you can set captioning to only come on after rewind. This would be a fantastic feature if it really worked. But each channel seems to override this setting. Also, the remote doesn't always work properly. The volume control doesn't work with the TV (although this is at least partially the fault of the TV). The power button rarely turns the ROKU and TV on or off until you press the button at least 3 or 4 times.

I've bought several of these, they all work superbly. These will save you a bundle over Directv or Dish. First off they don't cost $100's of dollars a month like Directv or Dish or Cox. These work everywhere, also loads of free tv too. Nothing free on the other 3, except a HIGH monthly bill.

The roku is fast and connects to web easy and fast

I own a Roku stick which I love using but when this came up as a Black Friday deal I thought why not, and wow, I really love it. I put on a TV in our basement and I am impressed! Prior to using it I would sometimes experience buffering while viewing movies with this I have been buffer free. Oh, and I love the earbuds!

This is the best streaming device I have ever used

This is my 4th or 5th Roku. I've had one go bad, the other were given to family as newer models with better features were released. This one has worked great so far. Typical Roku set-up, no problem there. Haven't tried voice control (forgot it was included), so cannot answer to its usefulness.

Roku is easy to use and a lot to learn and offer. Like the breakdown of categories, such as, documentaries, types of movies, etc.

The Roku Ultra was easy to install. The Roku App made setting up the Roku system. The menu’s Home (Roku’s guess at what you want to see) and Library (recorded programs) screens are poorly designed and make finding desired programs awkward. The Live (current programs playing guide) screen is good, as the App allows organizing channels into the sequence you wish to see them in the Guide. The remotes are okay.

I have both Apple TV 4K & Roku Ultra 4K. Both units are excellent but Roku allows for accessing more apps such as Comcast TV streaming to additional TV's for free if you already have a Comcast TV account. Apple TV does not have an agreement with Comcast so therefore no access to Comcast TV services.

This is a great system. It has all the options we want and need. The headphones also great do the hubby can keep watching while I sleep

Great product to escape the great costs of cable television. I was able to get this working myself - little effort. Great results.

I’ve now got 4 Roku’s ultras - they continue to update it keeping it by far the best streamer for the price. I’ve been very disappointed that my smart TVs are getting dumber as the manufactures of these sets discontinue services, and/or don’t offer new. Roku’s the answer.

Wow! Where have you been? Finally cut the cord, saving $$ every month, and getting the same channels, and a slew of free programming to boot. The JBL ear buds are of quality. Roku sticks will be part on my shopping list this year. The sales associates was knowledgeable about the right stick for my home.

We've been using Roku for several years. We cut the cable cord soon after we got it. It's much cheaper to pay for the services you want. And you don't need to pay for premium channels. Be patient and the movies will eventually come to Netflix or Hulu or Prime. We did buy Disney+ during lockdown to watch The Mandelorian and got to see Hamilton as a bonus. So worth it! Plus you can usually get Hulu super cheap during Cyber Monday. $1.99 per month for a year!!

Although I haven't used it yet (It's a Christmas present), this device may be the end of cable TV and it's constant search for higher and higher rate increases. I'm paying more than $180/month for phone, internet and cable an they just announced yet another increase. Now it's my turn to say "not so fast"!

This was a spur of the moment purchase but the best ever! I had a fire stick before and it quit working after 6 months.. I thought it was the internet connection because it would never stay connected. Decided to get a roku and it’s been heavenly since! Best purchase ever- I use this instead of cable!

The Ultra does everything it is supposed to very well. I bought the Ultra for the ethernet port. I wanted a more consistent data stream for our main viewing TV, a Sony 75 XBR75940D. The menus are fast. The streaming starts quicker and is more consistent than the apps on the Sony Android firmware.

before buying this i searched for lot of options but finally decided to go for Roku ultra and i am very happy for that it has awesome features and i am loving it i am using this on my projector my experience for this is excellent i will recommend this you should go for it and i got this luckily for 49 $.

i've had this for almost 1.5 years. i stream my shows to save money and can't believe how much stuff is available for free. i'm not much of a TV person mostly when i just want to chill and watch something. lately i've had to reseat the hdmi cable to get it to sync with my TV. not sure if it's the player or the hdmi cord. i'll swap cords at some point to test but since it's only happened 2 or 3 times in the last month i won't know for a while after i change the cable.
