Upgraded from the Roku stick. It was a great choice. Faster and love the ability to listen via headphones

Bought the Roku Ultra to replace an Amazon Firestick. Firestick was ok but started giving trouble. Had experience with a Roku 3 in a different bedroom and like it, never had any issues. We like the menu system. It responds quickly. So far no issues whatsoever.

New features include remote with headphones and voice command. I bought this model because it has an Ethernet connection and I expected it to be a gigabit connection however it's only 10/100. I can stream faster over wireless that the Ethernet NIC.

Easy setup and it controls tv power and volume. Great option to have an Ethernet connection as well!

I purchased this to replace the "smart" system on my TV and I am not disappointed. The multiple in multiple out wireless card performs flawlessly and attached to my wifi network quickly. Video streams much more quickly and cleanly than the internal TV smart system.

It stays on all the time, so you don't have to wait for the system to boot up when you turn on your tv.. The power button on the remote is only good for turning the TV off. So make sure you pause your movie or show before using it or else it will continue playing.

Processor improvement noticeably speeds up response to input and replay. 4K with appropriate subscription.

I got this because the WiFi connection on my smart tv sucked. It was always buffering and the sound was off with the picture. This Roku box solved that issue. Everything loads fast. My only issue is that the remote doesn’t light up like my old cable remote did.

This will be my 3rd Roku device I’ve purchased. Charter/Spectrum has an App on it that allows me to drop 3 cable boxes and save the rental fee for each one. 100’s on channels available. I no longer use my Apple TV device. This one is much superior.

Ordered two of these on Black Friday sale for fifty bucks a piece. Just hooked them up to my 2 older TVs that do not have built in wifi apps and wow are they convenient. Decided to ditch the directtv boxes on those two TVs and see if I miss it. It's only been a week but so far I think I may be saving a whole bunch of money in the new year by going to all ROKU TVs! Very inexpensive way to go if you still have perfectly good TVs that are not "smart"

The Roku Ultra simplified my cable cutting endeavor. There are lots of free applications out there - it just takes some time to sort thru what's available when and where. For the price, they could have made the headphones bluetooth compatible.

Well, the streaming in 4K is outstanding. You can also add Sling to get a good set of cable channels. Has a USB port to add saved movies and TV shows! The remote can control the TV / power / volume. Other streaming options can be added as well.

A recent price reduction made this an excellent choice for streaming. I really like the ability to add new Apps, voice control and one touch bottoms for Netflix,Hulu, Sling etc. Lastly it has a USB port so many pictures can be displayed via a memory stick.

I have gone through two of these receivers and they do not play well other receivers like Apple. It was easier to spend the money to upgrade our TVs to a smart TVs with everything on it as oppose to deal with these units.

I bought it specifically for the Spectrum app, so the kids could watch TV while my husband watched sports. It works like a charm and we didn’t have to buy/rent another cable box. And the screen saver—a fish tank— is fantastic and entertains our kitties too!

Very pleased with the easy setup and the number of free streaming channels. Good Tech support as well.

First time ever owning one. It was easy to install. Search features need work on the keyboard.

Just started streaming, and was using ITV. Not that good because our internet provider, Xfinity, does not support it yet. Bought this Roku and wow! We get so many channels, movies, music etc. It is such a good buy for the money! Love this latest edition.

I just upgraded to my 2nd Ultra. This one was to replace my Roku 4. While the specs are similar, this one is smaller and runs cooler. The interface is speedy and couldn't be more happy with it. Get this over the Roku Stick. Especially if you have a 4K TV.
