This does exactly what it says, minus the sound issue. If you turn on the Roku first then the TV you may find terrible audio cutout. Just unplug the roku for 10 seconds, plug it in and voila, good to go.

Fast, good wireless streaming quality. Like how there are more apps available compared to my old Apple TV. Also like the power and volume buttons on the ROKU remote, so I don't have to look for the TV remote to turn on/off the tv.

I didn't know that I could buy a player with bunch of apps. No need to buy another cable TV box. The logins work on almost all apps and has ben great to me. Now I watch whole bunch of sports on this player. My favorite best buy purchase.

Needed to buy this so that I could watch BritBox. There are so many other programs I can watch now including their own channel. Took a bit of help to set it up as I am technically challenged.

I really like it, comparing with Amazon Fire TV, I think this is much better, it has more options to settings the display, searching for a movie is so easy plus the recommendations to from where you can streaming the movie.

I think Roku is the best device to receive streaming media. This particular model is the latest and greatest with all the features. If you don't want all the features there are other Rokus available. The voice search is awesome.

Great device. Handy and fast. One negative sometimes it seems to hang up or lag.

This is a great device if you are looking for 4k and HDR. Just know it does not currently support Dolby Vision but there is not a lot of that currently online. The headphone option is fantastic when you need to keep it quiet.

love the added power button. really helps bring everything into one controller. easy to use and UI and best device for all shows in one place. i own two apple tv's and we just never use them because Roku is cleaner and easier to use.

The cable company we use is now charging $7.50 per month for their cable box. With Roku there are a few more steps in searching for programs or changing channels, but it's worth the effort as in 3 months the Roku will pay for itself.

I bought this to save money on my tv subcription for directv. I was able to get rid of Directv and save over a $100 each month. there is a learning curve with this device it took some getting used to but it's worth it.

I love my Roku. If it weren't for my elderly mother living with us who doesn't see well or understand all the buttons on the remote, I'd get rid of the satellite service and just use Roku.

The Roku itself operates well just like others I purchased a few years ago.

This is my 2nd Roku - the first was damaged by a lightening strike int he vicinity. This is a terrific product that works well with my subscription services (hulu, netflix) and provides lots of options for a lot less than cable!

Works well, headphones drain batteries very quickly.

There’s not much to say that hasn’t been said already. This thing is great for cutting the “cord”. I personally bought it to take my television on the road. Ethernet port was a selling point, sets up for super fast streaming

I purchased this Roku to expand my cable to other tvs in the house without having to rent a box. The earbuds are a great option and I'm glad I chose this upgraded Roku, even though it's a little pricier than the basic unit.

We absolutely love Roku because it has the largest selection of services/apps available and the device can be portable if you want to take it on vacations or other trips. The interface is easy to use and the set up was simple.
