Easily set up, Easy to Use

Not very helpful for Xfinity stream users

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Since Xfinity stream works only with Roku devices (not Firestick or Apple TV), I purchased four Roku devices for our various televisions. I purchased only one of the highly touted Ultra models, expecting to be able to switch channel and find movies by voice control, Unfortunately, the voice feature does not work within Xfinity stream (or within other streaming sources, such as Netflix). It works to switch between "apps" such as Xfinity, Netflix, Hulu and so on, (which Roku calls Channels) but Roku doe not search within these apps as far as I can tell. It cannot take you to the channel you ask for in Xfinity stream, or the show or series or episode you ask for in Netflix. The voice control apparently only works with what Roku directly offers. The Ultra does attempt to inform you what Roku feature on your screen is active, which I personally find annoying (the woman's voice is difficult for me to understand) and I hope to find a way to turn this off. If other users have had better success with Roku as their streaming source for Xfinity stream, I would be happy to hear of it. Finally, on one of my other Roku devices, the plug that Roku recommends be used in a wall outlet to power the device has failed, so I have had to plug into the T.V., which is not optimal. Am hoping other failures do not follow.
