I have an older version and on recorded shows off my HomeRun HD the LG smart TV outperforms the Roku. It takes longer to fast forward or rewind. On other content it works great. I ended up returning it as I saw no benefit from my older version.

It would be nice of your staff, who I consulted for the purchase, would tell a customer they need an HDMI cable so you wouldn’t have to drive back to the store later to get one because the instructions say they come without one.

this box hangs every day, i have to unplug the box and remove the batteries from the controller (i've changed the batteries 3 times and still have issues) everyday. i've owned rokus before and i've never had an issue with the product.

I primarily use this for watching Hulu and CW and there is two common problems I see on regular bases. First issue is while watching video it will loose connection even though no other devices are showing connection issue. I have 300MB Sec bandwidth on most of devices when running speed test. The second issue that is really annoying is the sound and video get out of sync when watching shows through the Roku player. When this occurs exiting video app and returning has no effect. I litterly have to unplug and reboot the player. One of the two issue will occur at least 2 times a week. So this is not a fluke but repeating issue.

Love the Roku...i have one for each TV. bought this one because it said "now with Google Assistant." I still cannot find any Assistant here. Getting very frustrating. my Google Home does not find anything either.

The Roku keeps stating that the hdmi cable is bad. We purchased a new cable and I plug it in into a different port and we are still having issues. We have a 4K tv with the 4K roku but still have issues.

Worked great on an older TV up until a few months go when for some reason the HDCP warning keeps popping up. The Roku itself is good, however, I wish they would add a Twitch app,

I am a roku fan, loved adding this 4k model to my receiver. I am getting an error occasionally where my TV screen goes off (sound is still on), still trying to figure out what is causing it.

Took a few days to understand the do and don't with devices. I have Sling TV with them too. Now worth having. And received a free powered Antenna to receive local channels in my area.

I thought the extra remote features would be better for my wife but she had no interest in the earbuds and the remote was more than we needed. I swapped it for the cheaper Roku.

My remote is not working properly. It goes in and out - stops working totally. I think there is an issue with the battery contacts. I am going to take it back to the store.

The box worked as it should, however I expected it to stream my Xfinity account. In fact I was told to purchase the Roku by an Xfinity rep... it did not work.

I wanted to love this - the price was right, the look was slick enough and it was relatively upscale in it's options of timer, temperature, etc. Until I turned it on and it sounded like a train - it is as loud as the loudest window unit you can buy. There would be no sleeping going on with this unit on. The fan and motor are so loud the dog didn't even want to be near it. Maybe I have one with a faulty fan unit, not sure but I think I will be returning this unit next week.

It works OK but no longer supports the slingplayer ap which is what I bought it to do. My smart tv renders in unnecessary.
