Only had to reset the box a few times but then, the display developed bands of colorful mosaic colors. Let's hope we can get customer service to replace it.

It’s okay the only bad thing is that you can download more apps into it it’s perfect if you have cable service and don’t want to use the big cable boxes

Apps loading tremendously fast, only one setback, i have a Samsung 3DTV and i am unable to change the HDMI color level to low, its greyes out to normal

I have purchased the roku ultra and was having problems with the remote where the remote would drain brand new batteries in 2 days, thinking that the remote was defective I went to Best Buy and exchanged my roku ultra for a new one and have the same problem, the battery would drain in 2 days and it would be brand new batteries “Duracell “. I called roku customer service and the only thing I could do is to buy energizers batteries next time, really!??

I've had it for a year and have not used it since I purchased it. I have no idea if it's any good or a piece of junk.

The roku is a great device. However, be sure to buy the extended warranty. This is our 3rd one, and they seem to only last about 12 to 18 months.

For some reason this new Roku needs to be reset often. Also doesn’t seem to recognize our micro SD card & we have to keep deleting channels

Bought 2 roku ultra on the black Friday sale. Got the first one setup, went though the update process fine, but could not get an activation code. Roku support is appalling, and absolutely useless. I am a retired network engineer, and it is absolutely amazing how something so potentially simple is made to be so convoluted. After hours of support, mostly via internet chat as phone conversations are impossible because of the language barrier, I returned both of the roku ultra boxes for a refund.

This worked fine but the wireless connectivity and lackluster voice control left a lot to be desired compared to the Apple TV 4k.

You have to purchase all the good channel subscriptions and it also has advertismetns. Not worth it if you have a computer.

Even if your TV, Xbox or DVD player has built-in apps, you'll like the Roku Ultra. It consolidates everything in one simple easy to use interface. It's fast, responsive and the 4K looks great. I was on the fence when looking at either this or the Apple TV and am glad I went this route. From the demo of the Apple TV in the store and compared to having this now it's clear the Apple TV wouldn't have offered much more than what I would have used on this and I have always liked the Roku remotes (especially over the Apple touch one). Voice search is fast, works great and the ease of use on this is perfect. Only thing I wish it could do is a timer to turn off the TV using the CEC functionality. Overall, this is a great streaming box and I'd definitely recommend it!

Wish it was a little faster when changing channels and wish it were as simple to use as the Amazon Firestick

All in all this device is great for what it does. The reason for the low score is Roku does not keep their advertised promises. This device came with a free month of Sling tv, but they would not honor that offer once I signed up for Sling tv. False Advertising got them a two star review.

Good quality for small tv , but if u have a big tv Like me it wont be a good choice

Loads super fast but will freeze and sound will skip. Has to be reset from time to time!

Unit is a bit of a disappointment. Volume output on Plex app is low compared to Amazon Fire TV Stick's Plex app using the same settings. History channel App streaming quality looks terrible compare to Fire TV Stick, or using any web browser on my laptop or desktop. I've tried every setting possible and nothing works. Furthermore, the unit doesn't power off. It stays on all the time. So, if you're streaming content from an app that does not have the option to turn off auto play in the app's settings, the Roku Ultra will continue to play content unless you exit the app. The reason for this is because the power button on the Roku Ultra's remote control only works to turn off your TV. Unfortunately, my option to return the unit expired 4 days ago (purchased July 15, 2019). Save your money and get something else.

I have a number of ROKU devices on our TVs. This one had near dead batteries which caused problems with the remote: For example, removing the headphones caused the remote to fail and require a system restart and re-pairing to the base unit each time.
