Worked great for about 6 months. After that the player stopped responding to the remote. I replaced the batteries but this didn't alleviate the issue. Since I purchased a protection plan along with the product I was able to get a new one as a replacement. Again the player worked great for 6 months but still encountered the same issue. I wouldn't recommend this product.

It didn’t work on our tv. The control didn’t work. Just didn’t work out.

I purchased this to cut back on cable tv....I kept the basic channels, and supplemented with this device. It buffered constantly...my husband hated it...I returned it, and purchased the Apple TV....added Hulu, with basic cable...cut my bill by $100.00 per month, and have so much more to watch, We are not loosing any of our favorites.

I've had for 45 days and the headphone system doesn't work. After a few minutes of using them I get a loud shriek and the volume converts back to the TV. However, I'm not able to use the stick functions such as the volume unless i take out the battery and reinsert????

the screen goes blank. Software issue that everyone is having according to online posts. It is annoying because it didn't start until two weeks in. Now I can't return it!! the stick works fine. I have one of those. No problem Buy the stick.

Very slow processing. Returned to BB. Still have two Roku Sticks.

You have to return to the home screen before turning off or it will continue downloading from the internet. Turning off the tv will not stop the streaming either. As more internet providers are considering caps on usage this is extremely tone deaf on Roku's part. I am returning it.

layout on screen leaves much to be desired. not as good as apple TV

The batteries in the remote only last for two days. And yes, I tried all the fruitless troubleshooting "tricks" offered by ROKU. It is super frustrating to have to remove the batteries and reinsert them each time I want to use the ROKU app.

Poor set of instructions and overly complex protocols to set up.

Worked 3 months. Now does not...Rebooted. Reset. Now unable to return to BB. I have read all threads on how to correct sync issues. The box has failed. No recourse. Just want to watch real-time TV using ROKU; cool until now.

I bought this for my mother in-law and could never get the account setup for use. Called customer service was was told to keep trying and if I could get the account setup after 5 try’s to call back in an hour. Total junk.

We had a Roku Stick that ultimately failed so we decided to upgrade to the Ultra 4K. This one just failed on us after less than 2 years. Not worth the money at all. Buy something else.

Device worked great until last update, now after switching inputs there us no signal from the device. Have to restart the roku to fix. Widespread issue they are not addressing.

WIth its simple to use controls and on-board nic, this is one of my favorite gifts to give to friends that are looking to cut-the-cord. It allows for 4k streaming from the most popular sources and works well with Plex. The easy to use remote control makes it something that even my 3 year old can operate when selecting the perfect TV show to watch.

It claims Dolby Atmos and 7.1. It broadcasts in neither. 5.1 is best it will do. Returning it.

Alexa will not recognize the Roku Ultra, and Roku tech support is useless.
