This is a great streaming player with a remote that is outstanding. I also own a Nexus player and Mi Box, and there are Android TV features I really miss, but the Roku makes up for a lot of that in usability of the interface, themes, Amazon app, and more

Quick and easy set up, just plug it in. Improved TV picture a lot! Works great, does all the things it says it will. I love it!!

Very pleased. Fast processor for a streaming device ARM Cortex A53 1.4GHz. Apps are opened extremely fast within 1-2 seconds utilizing 60Mbps wireless connection. Best feature is the speed of the device. Next best feature is simple but the inclusion of a power button and volume buttons on the Roku remote that control the TV. The only reason it doesn’t get 5 stars in the review is the private listening feature where headphones plug into the remote. The feature is great to have but several times while listening I have experienced issues with the audio. While listening to most videos/sitcoms/dramas I haven’t had any issues but if you are watching/listening to an action movie or Sci-fi (something like a Star Wars or Transformers) where you have a lot of special effects going on at once, you will almost certainly have the audio drop out while using the earbuds.

I have 2 Apple TV’s and have used Roku before. This is a great option for people that wants 4K streaming and tons of apps but don’t want to pay $170 for Apple TV 4K (Apple really needs a cheaper option like they did before). I haven’t used the Amazon devices, by the way. I snagged this Roku for $50 for Black Friday, and we love it. WiFi is strong, apps are snappy, remote has cool features, and the performance is awesome. If you have lots of iTunes content, this isn’t for you. But if you don’t, check it out!

I cut the cable and purchased high speed internet along with purchasing 3 Roku units (1 Ultra and 2 Streaming Sticks+). I put the Ultra on my main TV so that it allows for more buffering when streaming. I put the 2 Streaming Sticks+ units on my other TV's. Now I have the same interface on all TV's. I added Hulu and am still learning the in's and out's of it, but having the Roku front end gives me access to many apps. Would highly recommend Roku as the front end when cutting the cable.

4K capable, fast, remote with headphone jack and good JBL headphones. Can connect to a wired Ethernet jack. What's not to like?

I previously had Amazon fire devices on each of my sets but wanted to switch to non-Amazon devices. Initially I got a basic Roku and loved it. When I saw these, I ordered 3 of them and love them. Easy to set up a Roku account and love the Roku channel. The voice remote works flawlessly and the headphones are great when I want to watch something at night without disturbing anyone. Awesome streaming device, I highly recommend it.

I replaced my old roku 3with the ultra. Its smooth and fast. The headphone jack in the remote is handy for private listening.

Love being able to watch some 4k and some good programming. It was very easy to use and my family loves all the choices.

I own two different previous versions of Rokus and an Amazon Fire TV. I bought the Roku Ultra for the great price around Christmas. I have to say, the new version is great. I prefer the user interface of the Roku to the Amazon Fire TV, and the updated hardware is very responsive. There are a lot app options and the fish screen saver is fun as well. I don't currently have a 4K television, so I cannot comment on the 4K quality. However, the picture quality is very nice even on an older HDTV.

Easy to setup. Netflix button on remote and ear phone jack on remote for private listening. Exactly what I wanted.

The Roku Ultra far surpasses the Roku 4 in that it is not hot to the touch and there are no glitches once the unit over heats. One drawback is that for some reason I have to restart my Roku system and reconnect to my Google Fiber Internet at least once a week. I don't know if this is due to my Internet connectivity issues or the Roku Ultra device losing connectivity for some unknown reason. Other than that I love my Roku Ultra, no deal breaking problems or issues, for now.

The streaming box works perfect. Headphones also. Wiring it into the router seems to work better the streaming sticks.

I had a Roku 3 and I was pretty happy with it until I needed help with it. When I called customer service for help, Roku told me it was too old and that they no longer provided customer service for it! Time to get a new Roku! I decided on the Roku Ultimate and I am so glad I did! They have added so many new channels. It was easy to set up. When I needed help they helped me right away. It's much easier to use. The remote is a little bit bigger and fits in my hand better. I am very happy!

Really do enjoy this Roku player. You can download pretty much every streaming channel you like and the ROKU channel included is great. They always have new older classic movies updated every month to watch. My fav feature though would be the ability to stream audio wirelessly through the remote. I have a young child who goes to bed early so I connect some headphones to the remote and listen that way. Def recommend this Roku player.

Roku - Ultra 4K is easy to install and has loads of channels to choose from. Free Pluto and Netflix and Amazon are on ours

Fantastic box. Jacked in for streaming is far better than wireless, so this is the best roku out there. Highly recommend.

Setup was a Breeze. The remote recognized my tv right away. I can stream all my tv shows with this. Great picture too!
