    Not compatible with our TV

    I bought this to use with our only non-smart TV, a Panasonic TH-42PX20 plasma hdtv, and the screen keeps flying/loading...not sure what to call it but we can't read the menu at all. It did it when I first plugged it in and after a minute it did go to the setup and I did the initial update but now it's doing the same thing again and won't clear up. I did press the enter/middle button and I could tell there was a menu and it did change but it's useless since the screen won't stop jumping around. I also unplugged the power and hd cables, plugged them back in, and hit the reset on the bottom of the box but nothing helps (hd cable works fine for other things). Incredibly disappointed and I'll have to return it.

    Got this as a xmas gift, worked great for 32 days. Then white light is on showing power but nothing on tv screen. Tried everything to get running nothing worked. Called Best Buy they wont replace because warrantee is 15 days. That's nuts. Why bother with any warrantee at all. I'm no longer ever buying from Best Buy. 15 days on electronics isn't long enough. Guess I've got an expensive paper weight.

    Roku Ultra was easy to set up, but would not keep an internet connection for more than a couple hours. I spent over 3 hours with customer service with no resolution. Continually got kicked off of chat and then put to end of queue. I will never recommend this product or company.

    Lots of glitches, and Headphone feature doesn't work, Tried two different remotes and two different, same model, receivers. Missed BB return window, and when I asked ROKU for refund, they said MFG's warranty doesn't cover any device not purchased at ROKU. Trashing this and going with Apple TV.

    After having real smart T.V.s and 2 Roku T.V.all I can say is good luck with Roku. Very slow to connect (when it does connect) and the functions have always been very Jittery / Jumpy (Flashes off and on).

    After 10 months, the device developed a noticable sound distortion. Internet search revealed that this problem is common and doesn't have solution. The Roku technology is great but Chinese-made device doesn't last.

    there is no way to turn off the player when the tv is off so Netflix or direct tv now keeps streaming even if the tv is turned off by the power on the remote button
