Over the past few years, I've had several different streaming devices including Apple TV and several different Roku models plus the similar built-in smart TV functions. The Roku Ultra is far and away the best. I bought this Roku to replace the smart functions of a two-year-old multi-thousand dollar TV. I'm pleased with the purchase.

The ROKU ultra is easy to setup and operates wonderfully. It has hundreds of free channels although many have embedded commercials. ROKU is incredible for those wanting to watch older or obscure TV and movies from the past although it also has many more recent movies. It also acts as a media aggregator for numerous pay channels like Hulu and Showtime. Overall a great value...especially in these cold winter months.

Have had Roku devices around since their inception as a supplemental device for streaming. Their apps and platform has constantly improved as the years go by and make an excellent addition to a home theater with a projector or older TVs without app availability. Likewise, the ability to use earbuds with the remote is a great option when trying not to disturb sleeping family members late at night.

I've had this for over a year and it's my favorite media streaming device. Thankfully, Roku plays nice with Google and Amazon and I'm able to get all the apps I want - YouTube, Amazon Video, Hulu, Plex, etc. It has a large library of compatible Apps. I got one for my aunt who never streamed video until this year. The interface is simple and very easy to use for all ages!

So happy that we were able to cut the cord by getting a Roku. We are saving so much money now. I wish I would have done it years prior. Just add the free Pluto, Roku, Tubi, and Youtube channels. and this is mostly all you need. We just pay $8.00 a month for Netflix, but hardly ever watch it. I highly recommend this particular Roku because I like plugging it in to our modem rather than streaming through wifi.

The roku 4k is a great device. Good picture when streaming and a slightly sleeker remote.

The Ultra 4K Roku Streaming Media player is a great choice when you want to get rid of cable. Easy to hook up to a Smart TV. I'm not a current shows TV watcher, I like the older movies which there are a lot to view and free to watch. I also have a indoor antenna that receives all of our local stations so I still get the news and daytime TV programs. Now I save a lot by eliminating my cable subscription.

A must for your main TV. Comes with headphones for personal use, remote controls your TV, picture quality is great and thousands of channels. Also works well with Spectrum app. Just what I needed.

My reason to purchase the Roku was to cut our cable TV costs down to just internet service and utilize streaming products like the Roku. The Roku makes it really easy to navigate and search for different content that you want to watch. It is much easier to use over a chromecast as it gives you more of that cable tv experience by being able to pick and choose with a remote the programs you want to watch.

This is my second Roku player. I liked my first one so much that this time I bought an ultra. I love being able to adjust the volume on the remote, listen on headphones, and search for things with the remote with my voice. I still have cable but I can get rid of the cable boxes by using the cable companies app on the Roku.

This is an upgrade from a Roku 3, which also was easy to use. But I needed to upgrade for the new 4K tv and this Roku is what I wanted and needed. The one thing that was surprising, was that after getting all the apps that were on the older Roku 3 onto the new one, it needed more memory to store the apps, so I had to get a micro sd card, which thankfully are not expensive. Overall, love the ease of use.

This Roku is much faster than my older one and has voice capability. Setup was easy.

The Ultra Roku device is a great choice, offers great performance, the best wireless receiver and the option to plug into ethernet directly if you have that option. The apps load quickly and are faster loading then the apps I previously used through Xfinity. Only negative is the fact the remote does NOT have a mute button, hopefully this is something Roku will fix in the future.

I had been struggling with an old smart blu-ray player to watch Netflix and other programs. Roku is quick and easy to use. Easy to find new channels and has it's own free channel with movies and more. So far I have not figured out how to get on the internet and access Facebook, so I don't know if that's possible, but I will figure it out. I would definitely recommend Roku.
