I have used multiple versions of Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, and Roku. This is simply the best user experience. Apple ranks 3rd because it lacks features and the remote is not too Apple-ish. Fire is really great except for the Fire Cube which is not fully baked. Roku offers the best user experience with better features on the apps, like on MLB.TV. The remote is superior for the power and volume buttons, plus headphones (not for me). Only reason that I gave it 4-stars is because Roku sells $200 special speakers for the Roku TVs but not compatible with their streaming boxes--huh?

Was trying to get the courage to ‘cut the cable cord’ - tired of paying $200 for internet, hardly-used land line phone, & very basic cable tv. Set the Roku up and had both cable & Roku/Hulu + for several months to adjust/acclimate. Thrilled! Once I transitioned & was used to a new system - I’m much happier!! Thanks Roku & Best Buy!

easy to set up, easy to use once you get used to the menu system. One item we found last night, sometimes it starts to read the menus aloud. No direct way to tun that off, but found that if you press the * button four times in a row, it turns off the narration. Good to know. Headphones are a blessing.

Love the earphones that attach to the remote for night time use. The Roku Ultra has wireless & wired internet options. The USB and Micro-SD card slots are great for viewing stored content. Surfing for shows or movies is easier and faster using the Roku Ultra than searching via a Smart TV. Wish it had a mute button on the Roku remote.

The Ultra 4K Roku is the best media player on the market. I have tried many other media players over the years and Roku is the best. Streaming movies using wireless is seamless and dependable. The voice activated function works great. All the major streaming apps are included, and you can install any others that you desire.

Powerful streaming device. It picks up the Wi-Fi quite a distance from my router. I never have a problem with it rebooting during play. The choice of channels is phenomenal. No more cable TV all we use is our Roku now. Love that this Roku’s remote control also controls the television functions so we only need to use one remote.

Excellent streaming device! Love the remote with quick buttons, volume control, voice search, and headphone jack. We had been using a Wii u for streaming for so long and never realized how awful it was in comparison! Tons of great free channels available as well. Works great in the farthest room from our WiFi as well. Super easy to use.

Easy to operate great picture quality better than Apple TV

Great features, easy set up picture quality is amazing

This product was just what my needs required. The price was Affordable, didn't break the bank. Set up was easy, once hooked up it walks you through the process on screen, really simple. The only thing that I think, it should come with it is HDMI cable, this one does not. Cable is not included, where as other Roku models it does.

This is probably one of the best streaming boxes on the market. We have an Apple TV and tried fire sticks, as well as the options on the smart tv. This is very responsive and quick to load. 4K works exceptionally well and looks great on our Samsung TV. We ended up buying 2 more, one for each room and they all work perfectly.

Quick to set up ... and easily provides access to services like HULU that delivers all stations available through cable (including Local channels), along with way more personal viewing choices ... all for a significantly lower cost than cable or other similar services. Roku device is well worth the small device cost.

Set up was easy and the pictures on the movies are great

This Roku ultra has everything but the kitchen sink .... It is super fast loading apps ..... I had problems with the USB slot as it was difficult getting my hard drive in .... But when I did ,it loaded super fast and it is a 2GB drive .... In hindsight I wish I had not returned this item for I forgot to delete the apps that I had installed ..... Now they show up on Roku.com as installed in the channel store even though I set the Roku to factory default ... I just happen to have received one with a glitch .... Should have took it in for repair and kept it ....
