I bought this product to get away from cable and now I’ve signed up with YouTube TV which I access through my Roku. Great device, I always choose a wired connection but so far I have no issues using wireless. I am getting a better picture than I ever received from cable.

Roku allows you to have apps on your tv, just as you would on your smart phone. If there is nothing on Spectrum, I just binge watch my favorite tv shows from the various apps. I wish Direft tv has an app, but Directtv had gone down the toilet who.over Att bought them out.

This remote is easier to use than my Apple TV, but of course it has less functionality. However, for most things I do, this is easier. i wish it had "previous channel" and some other features. Perhaps those are available on the plug in accessory. Also, button functions are completely different from Apple TV. It would be nice if these were standardized so different remotes would work pretty much the same. The remote should have button function visible on the remote.

I am pleasantly surprised how much I love this set up over cable. I am tech challenged person and was able to set up myself. Love the remote - good buttons and easy to use. Haven't used the voice part yet but maybe soon. Highly recommend. Wish I knew alot earlier about this.

I was already a fan of Roku.. But this version has made made me a superfan. The ability to use the remote in place of your TV remote while streaming is awesome. Also you can use any headphones and plug into the remote and watch a while not disturbing your wife.

Bought the Roku streaming unit to replace cable box. Really enjoy having opportunity to take advantage of my Prime Video app and other streaming opportunities. I'm new at this technology but it's easy to set up; takes awhile to activate some of the apps but no big deal.

This ROKU streaming media player is perfect when it comes to viewing all of your favorite shows and movies. It’s features are great plus you have the capability to plug in the earbuds to listen to the TV without disturbing anyone else in the room. How great is that ?!

For anyone without a smart streaming TV, this is a must. I love Roku devices and have four of them and counting. There is no easier way to stream almost anything to your TV. Roku just keeps making them better and better. I still have my original and it works fantastically.

I bought this as a gift but I have one of my own. I highly recommend this Roku over others because of the Ethernet port. You don't have to worry about a poor wifi connection, especially if you're watching something live. Also, the Roku is very easy to set up and navigate.

The ultra is great! I had a previous roku box that started to hiccup and the apps would not work right. So this one was a refreshing upgrade. 20 min setup with all the signing in and stuff. For a hundred bucks it's way better than the apple player and I have both.

So far this streaming box is working fine, plenty of free content and we can use it to access our Spectrum TV so we can turn in our Spectrum receiver and not pay monthly rental on it anymore. I particularly like the headphones jack on the remote so I can listen at night without bothering anyone. It takes some getting used to, negotiating the roku channel rather than using my spectrum remote but all in all pays for itself in less than a year

Had an original Roku which was fine but wanted something which didn't require finding all the remotes plus the speech option. This fills the bill. One remote with all the buttons for on/off, sound and it is much faster to use. Glad that I made the purchase.

This is my first streaming device, and works well. Good response time. Coming from a cable TV service with a more intuitive menu feature, it takes time to get use to the menu feature on the Roku which is a little more clunky. Like the on/off and volume control features on the remote (which oddly enough those simple features don't exist on lower end Roku remotes which I found out while researching).

This is my second Roku. I got a good deal for black Friday & decided to get a second one for the bedroom. It's great to be able to watch Netflix, Hulu, etc. on my non-smart bedroom TV. The headphones are one of my favorite features to watch tv & not disturb anyone else.

Just upgraded my roku stick to this after seeing it listed for $49. Not happy at all with roku stick...the stick gets too hot being attached to the tv, even with the free extension cord that roku provides. I only use this with the wired connection and DirecTV now flys.

I went back and forth and because of the doorbuster deal, went with this. Couldnt be happier!! Has everything I need and more. The secret channels is pretty cool. Picture is amazing and I definitely like the headphones because it helps me tune out the NYC street noise.

Absolutely love my Roku it works well haven’t had any glitches I actually have one in every in every room it works well with xfinty and save me renting a box for every room we also have Amazon fire tv in every room between the 2 there’s absolutely nothing I can’t watch

Hooked this up to an older Vizio for my mom to help cut the cable and she found a LOT of content she thought only the cable company could provide her. Easy menus, intuitive navigation, and that's saying a LOT for a 78 year old woman that doesn't use a smart phone!

The Roku Ultra was very easy to install on our Samsung tv. No other device has so many content choices. Many channels are free. Kanopy library streaming platform is one of my favorites. The box responds quickly and the voice search is another great feature.

I upgraded my Roku 3 to the Roku ultra. Wow, what a difference. It works so much more snappier. The 4k video looks amazing. Roku is definitely the best in its class with streaming devices. The interface it the easiest to use and the majority of channels supported.
