Got this to replace my refurb Roku 3. So far I love everything about it. I don't have a 4k tv but that doesn't stop me from enjoying the speed, find my remote and volume control compared to the Roku 3 I had before. I always recommend roku devices to anyone looking for a good streaming device and this has not disappointed.

I had an old tv that didn’t have the capabilities of the newer Smart tv’s. I also needed it to access certain premium channels that I could no longer see since my cable provider stopped supporting cable cards, which my TiVo uses. This runs very fast and is easy to use.

I was apprehensive about cutting the cable but ROKU made it so simple. Using an ethernet for the long run from my modem to this media player was just plug and play. Easy to understand directions and I had two of these devices ready to go in minutes along with two other WiFi ROKUs. Next, my cottage needs ROKU.

Bought the Roku Ultra to replace the Roku 4. It is smaller than the 4 with many of the same features. Works well so far. Could not find the automatic power off setting which was available on the 4. I love the remote because it now turn on/off my TV plus control the volume. The JBL Headphones are pretty cool too and works well.

For anyone who notices that there is static after using this unit with headphones for some time, REPLACE THE BATTERIES. Use the high utility rechargeable batteries and charge at the first sign of static. We though the unit was defective at first, but, it just needed charging. It is faster than our old Roku and works great.

I've been hesitant in getting a ROKU because I didn't think it would add much more than the options on my SmartTV (I got it to be able to stream the Criterion Channel) but boy was I wrong! It has worked flawlessly and makes viewing so much easier. And the headphone jack in the remote is brilliant! I am a convert.

I own Apple TV 4K, Chromecast, and various Roku products. Among all of them, I find this one the most easy to use and fastest. Remote may feel cheaper than Apple TV remote, but responds fast and even easier to click. 3.5mm plug is also super easy. In summary, being easy is its biggest advantage over other similar products.

This is so easy to set up and use. We were looking to have something for our guest room but didn't want to have to pay the monthly fee for an extra cable box. This was the perfect solution. Had gotten another lower priced model which worked fine but having the TV and box all on one remote was perfect.

I highly recommend the Roku Ultra for anyone looking to cut the cord from cable and begin streaming service. I have other streaming devices and hands down this is the best. No freezing or other issues while watching Live TV. I love the Roku Ultra that I currently have 3 in the household. Highly recommend the device.

This Roku streaming device is so easy to use and adding are very easy to do also. I like the version because you only need to use the remote that comes with it to turn on and off the TV and also the TV volume. Plus, there is a place on the remote for ear phones, so cool! and so much free stuff to watch.

i have been fed up using the smart TV feature on my Samsung TV which is very slow and sluggish. i got this on thanks giving deal and its worth the price i paid. menu is intuitive and super fast. free movies on Roku is something additional. works good with 1080, haven't tried on 4K TV but it should be good i guess.

I have owned almost all of the major brands of streaming device. Roku is easily my favorite. The interface is clean and user friendly. Not to mention it is very snappy. I didn't think I would use the headphone feature, but it is great when the family goes to bed early and I don't want to disturb anyone.

We recently added an enclosed porch to our home and were making arrangements with Comcast to run a cable line to the porch for our new 4K television. The Comcast technician who came to analyze the job suggested two viable alternatives: a wireless router so we could stream our Comcast programming or a Roku stick. Rather than pay a rental for another device, we opted for the Ro, ku, in this case the Roku Ultra with headset. The setup with our new LG TV was easy. Once the Roku was connected, we downloaded the Comcast/Xfinity app, we were in business and able to watch all of our favorite cable channels as well as Netflix and Amazon and a host of other apps. What's also nice that if what you're watching is streaming in 4K, the Roku will stream it to you in ultra clear 4K. The only negative was that I was unable to get headset to work with my TV so I decided to buy a separate Insignia wireless headset and, again, easy listening. I would recommend this device as the ideal complement and addition to your wireless network.

I had an Apple TV 4K before this which I enjoyed except for some things such as the remote and the YouTube app not supporting 4K. The Roku fixes both of those things. It not only plays 4K on YouTube but it does so without buffering (with appropriate internet speeds) and the remote has actual buttons for navigation rather than trying to swipe. The couple things that the Apple TV does better is being able to speak out spelling such as when logging into apps the first time and being able to mirror an iOS or Mac device.

This is my first time using Roku and its really nice. I love the remote that controls the TV (pwr&vlm) aside from the Media player. Its super fast, actually faster than the internal apps from 4K TV. Not to mention the number of apps to choose from. Great investment for cable cutters. You will not regret it.

I have purchased two of this model of Roku Ultra. It has the option of hooking up headphones, which I love for times I want to watch something in the same room as my husband when he is watching something on his iPad. The remote can also run the tv so no more juggling two remotes at the same time.

We finally cut the cord and love our Roku system for steaming TV shows and movies. Its fast, easy to use and a great value at the price we paid. The only drawback is lack of a mute button on the remote. But, to compensate, pressing and holding the reduce volume button quickly lowers the volume.

This works great. You can watch anything that you subscribe to with Roku. I have hard wired the Rokus that I use and I have installed several wireless Rokus for friends. The quality is the same on both, great. I love it, no more rental box.

Love the Rokus. It's a good interface, carries the streaming services I want and the remote and base unit work well together. The wifi connection never has an issue. I have two Ultras in the house. They're also easy to move temporarily to another TV.

I have a few other Roku devices in my house and this has improved since I last bought a device. The remote itself is universal, turning on / off my LG TV and LG soundbar and doing basic TV controls - one less remote is always a plus. Setup itself was easy and overall a great product.
