I have 3 Roku players in the house and it works great and have had no trouble with them and like the ease of use of the device . It connects easily to wifi and seldom have any connection problems except when wifi is down. The only other issue is that if you connect the headphones it drains the batteries quickly. Would highly recommend this device!

Between streaming boxes and built-in with TVs we have 7 rokus in the house. This is hooked up to a 2018 Vizio P series with Dolby vision. I am not of fan of the built in smart features, it froze while loading and never worked well. This Roku is user friendly, great picture quality, and is Dolby vision capable. I cannot speak to the WiFi as I have it plugged in via Ethernet.

Since my television did not support all streaming services, I had to stream often from my tablet to the television. The Roku supports all of the streaming sites that I utilize. It is easy to use and very convenient. Since it has an ethernet port, it is extremely fast.

Like all the other ROKU devices I have used in the past, this new high end product works without any problem. It is very easy to set up and use and finds the optimal tv connection as anticipated. The only minor concern I have is that the volume button works with my newer Samsung tv but not with my 5 year old Sony tv.

Upgraded from a Roku Express and didn’t think it was much of an upgrade. Was looking to capitalize on the Atmos and Dolby vision for UHD streaming, but i couldn’t tell a difference. Maybe my other equipment (LG TV, Denon avr-x2700h Receiver) was the limiting factor. It’s still a roku though and worked flawlessly and was super easy to setup. I’d rate this 5 stars if it were my only roku ever, but based on the price difference of the roku I already have I can’t say i’m impressed enough to keep it.

Easy to install. Very quick app load times. 100x more apps to choose from over the LG options. Bluetooth remote works well with TV and Roku (line of sight with TV). Cool screen savers. Better picture quality (true 4K when available). Better sound via TV speakers (which are poor to begin with). No monthly cable bills and I can watch local channels

I purchased Roku Ultra to gain access to The Roku Channel and discovered another great way to connect to various streaming services. For the most part, Roku Ultra is great. One downside, however, is the private listening through the remote. It seems to EAT battery power. I've been changing batteries weekly when using that feature. Aside from that, this is a GREAT product. Great picture quality. Fantastic sound. You'll definitely enjoy it.

I bought this device in addition to my Apple TV. Price is right.

Roku is fabulous. This model replaces one bought several years ago. I am not a techie but the old roku, the basic model, was doing a lot of refreshing. Not so now and the picture seems crisper with brighter colors. The remote is a great plus for me. One remote for all the functions and, unlike the previous one, this one has an on/off button. I love it.

The Roku Ultra is not a perfect streaming media player, but it is certainly closer than any other manufacturer's. It is a best seller for a good reason. The performance is continually improving, the product is mature and quite solid, memory is expandable (a consistent negative with Apple products) and the selection of services is and hopefully always will be unmatched. There have been some initial service availability issues, but they all seem to get resolved and become available on the Roku at some point. The menu could use some refinement with the huge number of channels that can accumulate and it would be nice to be able to program the four high use service buttons on the bottom of the remote, but these are relatively minor quibbles. The lack of gigabit speeds through the wired ethernet connection is a little bit of a downfall for non-wireless users. I've owned around twelve Roku boxes through the years and currently have five Ultras in use throughout the house. With sale prices being common on these, you really can't match the cost/performance ratio (again, you can buy at least two Ultras - sometimes about three - with 64GB micro SD cards for the price of one Apple TV). It is consistently one of if not THE performance leader of streaming players.

The Roku Ultra is interfaced with my home theater and I'm truly impressed. I have it hardwired to the router via a cat6a ethernet cable and have absolute no issues streaming in 4k and Dolby Atmos. One of the best purchases I have made regarding source electronics equipment. Highly recommended if you're looking for next level performance.

The 5-star rating is for the Roku Ultra streaming media device. Sadly not for the Best Buy customer service. I planned to buy either the Apple TV device or the Roku. I was very interested in the Roku Ultra because it did everything the Apple TV did, had a USB port (Apple doesn't), and was on sale at Best Buy for half of what the Apple cost. But when a BB sales rep told me that I couldn't mirror my iPhone through the Roku, I decided to wait. Then I did some research on my own, and discovered that the salesman was wrong. The Roku Ultra mirrors iPhones and iPads perfectly! We do it routinely now. But the sale was over so I couldn't get the original "black friday" pricing. Ultimately I made the Roku purchase, anyway, and I'm very pleased with its performance. Roku offers a lot of free content, too. FYI, since I connect directly to my hub with an ethernet cable, I cannot comment on how it works using WiFi. But I assume it's probably just as satisfactory.

Best Roku yet. Integrates well with my Sony 75" UHD 4k TV and high-end Marantz home audio system with Dolby Atmos for superior sound. Best of all, the range is good and Its able to pick up the wifi signal at the furthest point of the home from an older router. I replaced all of my Spectrum TV cable boxes with the new Roku and saving money with more options.

The Roku Ultra is easy to set up and provides a smooth streaming experience. Apps, such as YouTubeTV, load more quickly than on the Roku Premier. My favorite features are being able to control volume and turn the tv on and off with the included remote. Having two buttons designated to program my personal choice as a quick link to an app is an added plus.

Fantastic way to stream everything, it is an excellent tool.

Good picture, great remote, fast streaming, excellent content

I'm new to the Roku universe. It was easy to set up (minimal confusion on the channel selection). I got this to speed up my streaming connections. It works like a charm. Connecting to various streaming services is quick, and streams without any issues. The remote has the needed buttons, working without issue as well (i.e. FF, Rew, etc.).

Works great! Loved the voice remote and specially the headphone feature
