Great Roku update

Owned for 2 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We bought this to add to our few year old Roku ultra and noticed it is more responsive and faster than the old one, and we love the Roku Ultras as they have great remotes compared to the maddening Apple TVs we replaced with their horrible remote designs. We got a Roku for my parents who can more easily use it compared to Apple TV.

Access to new Smart TV apps

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have an older Sony Bravia television that has some of the older apps like Netflix and Amazon, but you can’t add any of the the more current apps like Discovery+, Paramount+, Peacock,etc. This Roku device has allowed us to access all these apps within having to buy a new smart TV. I am very happy with it so far.

In addition to that we are finding that the Ultra is quicker to respond than our previous models... even the newer ones. The ONLY thing we have a problem with is the placement of the MUTE on the side of the remote. Both of us keep hitting it accidentally. We are long time Roku users.

Great device, minimal upgrade from previous versio

The wifi connection and speed are better on my Wifi 6 mesh system now, and the atmos was much needed. But if neither of those are things you have or will use then no need to upgrade. I actually feel like the last version was a little faster in the menus. Maybe that will change as they update it. Either way, its a great streamer. If you do not have a roku yet, and you want to do 4k, get this VS any of the sticks or smaller devices. You wont regret it.
