This item worked far better than I expected. I currently own 3 units as a result. It’s very easy to move between streaming options. The Ethernet connection option is a bit quicker but the wifi connect works very well also. Make sure your home network is fast and you won’t be dissatisfied.

Roku Ultra is the best streamer with the easiest to use interface and the Ultra remote has a very useful mute button. You can pair the remote with your TV or receiver. As of 12/17/20, HBOMAX is also active. Just remember to delete the old HBO channel before installing HBOMAX. I have all of the other streamers but I always prefer Roku.

Same great Roku ultra, but now with DOLBY VISION support!

Have had Roku Sticks, purchased the ultra so I could use bluetooth earbuds to enhance hearing. The Ultra could be improved by allowing multiple earbud usage. When earbuds are attached sound ONLY comes through the buds, noone else can hear. The work around is putting the Roku app on smart phone, using the phone as the Roku remote and connect earbuds via bluetooth or direct connect to your phone. Up to five phones can be connected. The other features seem to work the same as the stick.

First, the good. The picture quality is excellent. I'm using this on a projector mounted in my garage. I have a mesh point nearby so the stronger Wifi strength is not important to me. Now, the bad. It is advertised as Bluetooth enabled. That isn't the whole story. Rokus only work with their soundbar/speakers. The workaround is to use the app on a device (phone/tablet) and then stream sound from there. It adds a layer of complexity and ties up a device that needs to stay present. I can't just send my kids out to the garage and let them set it up and go. I have to go pair a device and then leave it out there. Firestick and Chromecast can be paired directly to ANY Bluetooth speaker. My workaround is plugging in a Bluetooth transmitter to the headphone jack. It's a bit clunky, but the best alternative. I waited too long to return this so I'll have to live with it. If using speakers other than Rokus I suggest the Firestick.

Works fine, maybe a bit faster than Roku - 2, but I probably don't get some of the best upgrades because I have an older TV.

Works great, pretty easy set up. I dont like that volume is on the side of the remote. I really like the head phone feature.

Everything looked good, but the remote was so slow and squishy. I couldn't use my lg magic remote on it. Lg native apps are way better, just trying to find the best way to get hbo max. I just got a 4k fire stick for $39.99. Cheapest way and the dolby vision and atmos looks just as good as anything. I tried the stick, aptv4k, shield pro and came back to lg native apps with the 4k stick.

Worth every penny. So much better than earlier models.
