The screen randomly goes black when I'm watching things, sometimes I have to completely pull the power plug to get it to turn back on. Roku support is horrible as well. And by horrible I mean non-existent. You can try using their community forums for support, but it's overrun by spammers and scammers, and you wont find much other than people complaining about the same things you are with no response from Roku themselves. They started adding advertisements to everything, which I despise, that's one of the main reasons I bought my first Roku years ago. And on top of that, they've started disabling features, like your remote controlling the volume of your receiver, specifically so they can push their new crappy sound bar. And they're constantly getting into fights with the likes of HBO and Amazon, so if you want to stream Twitch, good luck, and HBOMax just got added to the platform after months. Which, that's here now, but what about the next time something with a lot of demand comes around? They'll feud with them too. I've also heard that their OS is really hard to work with, which is why many apps from streaming services are really buggy, and there's no avenue to report bugs or rate these apps. I guess it's pretty nice when it works though and it has the app you need/want. This new one also plays nicer with audio passthrough which was not even possible with prior versions, so all the audio was locked to 48kHz. Groooooosssss...

The Roku made it possible for me to use YouTube TV. For some reason my 2017 LG TV would not install the app. Most of my grip is with YouTube TV but I find that when I turn off the Roku sometimes the data continues to stream and I have found cases where my program was advanced skipping over content that I didn't see. To work around it I learned that I have to press the home button each time before I power off.

Upgraded to this model and you can tell there is more horsepower under the hood. Connected to my WIFI instantly and channel apps are almost as instantly. Build quality maybe a little lighter than my old model Ultra from 2018, as both the player and remote feel lighter in weight. Time will tell about durability, but for now WOW!

It’s amazing that I can watch Greek tv from Greece. Even though I have a great Oled LG tv, it appears that the tv is sharper than before. My remote has voice also. Very new to this but recommend with different streaming options. The only thing is that the remote could be a little bigger to be able to control the channels.

I love this for no other reason than you can ping the remote. I have 4 kids and I can't remember the last time I could just walk into a room with a TV and Roku attached and just find the remote within seconds of looking. I ALWAYS have to ping it. Nice job, Roku.

This unit is much higher quality than it's $30 counterpart. I purchased this one as an upgrade so I could have a direct ethernet connection. I was finding the signal wasn't always great with wifi. It's perfect with the ethernet.

Easy set up, improved our streaming dramatically, had lots of buffering before, none now that it’s hooked up.

This Roku is replacing an older model, and it has a lot of great apps, but it goes through batteries rather quickly.

This is my 4th Roku device purchase. I have loved all of them. This is one is especially great. Highest streaming quality AND has the remote finder. No more having the tape Tiles or Airtags to the remote! I also love being able to hardline in the internet for a faster more stable connection.

Having tried out the Fire Stick, Chromecast, and Apple TV, we've since pivoted completely to Roku. The device's reach across media streaming options can't be overstated. And once you have one installed, any additional units are even easier. Highly recommended.

I’ve upgraded from the roku stick, and not regretting it. Everything works without any problems.

I replaced a very old model of AppleTV with my new Roku Ultra in order to access Plex on my bedroom TV. I required a device that would have robust Wi-Fi and processing capabilities so the Ultra was my choice for the price. I could not be happier. Plex performs perfectly and Wi-Fi reception in the 5ghz band is solid.

If you don't have a smart tv that will get all of the streaming services that you want this is a great solution. I have a LG smart tv but it won't get PHILO. This was the solution without replacing a perfecly good TV. It made cutting the cable TV cord easy. Just need a good internet connection.

Streaming using the ROKU perfect for older televisions. It avoids having to purchase a new tv. Worth every penny.
