For me, this is the best Roku Ultra I have purchased over the years/ I have an LG OLED tv with a surround sound system built into the tv r99m. With this Roku Ultra, I easily get a 4k tv si8gnal with Dolby UHD sound with making changes to my Yamaha receiver. The Roku is faster in loading apps. It makes my tv experience at the best quality I ever had.

Excellent product. This is the best streamer I have ever used. Lightning fast, excellent picture, and no issues with any of the apps downloaded. Highly recommended. Watch out for an initial problem with a frozen screen of the ROKU logo bouncing continuously. Do a hard reset on the ROKU device. No issues beyond this at setup.

This is my first Roku and I love it. Not only for the price, but its quality and seamless streaming ability over WiFi. Paired with my native 4k Samsung TV, the picture quality is mesmerizing. When I paired it with a regular 1080p TV, the upscaling quality was near perfection. And I love the remote with the voice search feature.

Upgraded to this Roku Ultra from a Roku Premiere+ primarily for Dolby Vision support as many 4k movies on Vudu and other services provide this option. The Roku is fast and easy to use with a deep selection of channels. The Ethernet port is good for worry free streaming. Overall the Roku works great as part of our cord cutting solution.

I purchased this item to replace a cable box in my basement. I have another Roku device and 2 Roku tvs, but the Ultra model is an upgrade to what we have. The set up was easy and connection to wifi easy too. There was some buffering on 2G so switched to 5G and no problems since. The picture is fantastic. Very happy with purchase.

I’ve had a lot of experience with streaming devices over the years. As a former Geek Squad installer I was in a position to regularly recommend products to client and would often steer them towards Apple TV’s for their ease of use, streaming quality and product quality. Since leaving the company my exposure to consumer technology has been somewhat reduced, as it is limited to my needs and occasionally assisting friends or family. The quality of and number of devices offering streaming support has expanded significantly and I think it is safe to say that the Roku lineup has set itself up as one of the heavy hitters. The reason I purchased this device in particular is because it currently supports a Comcast/Xfinity Beta-App that effectively allows you to get rid of the cable box where you have the Roku. Not only is it enabling a superior streaming experience on an existing TV, but it will also save me money in the long term, as long as the app continues to be offered. I have yet to encounter any functionality that I would want from a streaming device that this does not support. Outside of a few edge cases, I think that this would more than meet most consumers needs.

I like my ROKU Player! I just hope that soon they come out with an even better one but overall I love it

Glad i purchased this Roku Ultra and i can see and hear the difference between smart TV apps the sound and video quality is amazing and i’am definitely enjoying watching Movies from Netflix the 4K quality and Dolby Atmos are perfect for my Samsung Qled TV and Denon Reciever with my Bose Acoustimass 10

Wish i could give it 4.5 stars. I like this unit, it has great sound, it's fast it loads quickly, it offers digital outputs and on controller headset port for private listening. Its really the best decision if you are "cord cutting". The only 2 reasons for loosing a 1/2 star to star are the following: 1. The screen flickers black from time to time for no reason. you can find this complaint online but it seems Roku hasn't resolved, 2. I wish i could connect a blue tooth headset to the device.

I have been using a Roku Ultra for a number of years now, and it's been great. I bought this as a 4K upgrade. We haven't yet got the 4K setup, but it's snappier than the older model and the remote is improved. This is overkill for most people, as the sticks are more than capable, but I wanted it for the ethernet connection.

I recently bought a Roku kit to connect to my Sony HD television. While the TV is not considered a “smart TV” we had it in storage for several years, well-preserved, covered, and in a temperature-controlled climate. During that time, technology moves forward in leaps and bounds. Yet, it certainly was no reason to trash this TV. The Roku hardware just connects to one of the TV’s HDMI ports and essentially converted it to a smart TV. This has opened us up to a world of streaming. It’s also saved us the expense of a new TV for at least a while longer, as we can still enjoy this one. Gone are the unnecessary and absurdly expensive cable and/or satellite charges. AT&T Uverse was really way too costly (we had a Latino 400 Max package, plus all local networks). Roku freed us from all that. Highly recommended if you have an older model (but really nice) television which is not yet ready to be put out to pasture. Super-easy to set up and use!

This is absolutely the best Roku on the market. Ignore the others. It has an Ethernet Jack which I use since I run Plex. It’s perfect for it. Would not recommend anything else. Nest for the money. I don’t have a UHD TV but the picture is crisp and clear. Easy to use. Even comes with voice activation. Works with Alexa.

Although I really like the interface of Google TV and Amazon Fire TV, this Roku Ultra is faster and does not present any problems when opening any streaming service. The searches are very good, and the updates are constant adding good features. 100% recommended

Thanks goodness for Roku. The interface on my Samsung is frustrating (it works, just frustrating to use). This is my 3rd Roku and this one has the features for my new tv and receiver. This seems to be faster than my previous Rokus (holding arrow up on YouTube TV is MUCH faster). Like the built in headphone jack. Happy customer.

I bought one Roku Ultra for my home theater and liked it so much, i bought another for my living room. It has Dolby Atmos sound so it obviously rocks. Watched Black Widow streamed through the Disney+ app and it sounded great and lookef great. Handy device to get all your apps for streaming in one place.

Provides the expected great interface with all of our viewing apps and works well with our 4K LG tv. Haven't really used any of the extra features like the lost remote finder, but it's only a matter of time. Have owned many Roku devices and expect this to perform as expected.

This is my third Roku. It is faster than my Roku 3. The remote is slightly different, but it easy to use. Great price from Best Buy and even though I have a smart tv, I find the Roku faster and easier to use. Great product and once again, nice job Roku!!!

This was our second Roku after many years of an earlier model. I am amazed how easy it was toconnect and get to watching! It was literally only minutes! It provides all we need and then some! This came with headphones and 4K and cost what we psid years ago. It was opened and installed on Christmas morning.
