Very friendly user and up to date with the latest tech. Remote finder, voice enabled and even headphones that mute the TV just like modern video game consoles. Keep it up Roku!

Roku Ultra Superb

This Ultra really is at the top of their food chain. The quality of audio and video is off the charts, even using WiFi. Also got it for a great price.

Fantastic

The only negative I have is it’s intermittent with our sound bar. I don’t know why, and because of that (and my dog hating some video games I have to keep the tv remote around to mute it).

Great Roku Streaming Device

Great little streaming device with their best WiFi and voice remote makes things easier to navigate for them. Bought on sale so price was good as well.

Roku 4k Ultra

Works great over Wi-Fi. The headphone attachment to remote is great when my wife is sleeping it does not disturb her.

Worth the upgrade

After purchasing multiple Roku sticks, we bought the Ultra player on sale to see if we see a difference. It streams smooth with little lag that can be occasionally found on the sticks. We will definitely buy another one.

Nice improvements -faster upload, no more lagging

I was having issues where shows would stop, slow loads and just quirkiness that were all getting worse. Everything went away and now just smooth loading, selections and viewing. Thanks!

Really enjoy this as audio and video is really improved over our older Roku stick..

Roku without issues!

However the previous model was always over heating this model no longer has that issue and I love it!

Roku and Spectrum broke ties

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been happy with the Roku purchase, but my frustration comes from the fact that the only reason that I purchased it is because my cable provider, Spectrum, required it in order to use their app. Now Spectrum has lost the contract, so my home is full of Rokus and I'm not sure what will happen in the future with my cable option. It's very frustrating.

Problem with device new one works great

Checked ROKU form and MANY people had same issues. ROKU sent a brand new updated device. Works perfectly now.

Roku Affordability

I especially like the Voice Remote. I like the personal l earplugs, which also work on about anything that requires earplugs. I suggest you buy one for a friend.

Worst Roku I've had

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Was pretty excited for a Roku with Dolby Vision to finally come out so I waited until they had their Black Friday sale. Replaced my Xbox One X that I was using for a streaming box using the same HDMI cable and input on my receiver. The Xbox One X supported Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos and had no issues with HDCP errors. I say this because almost immediately started having an HDCP error pop-up randomly with the Roku. Looked up Roku's support for solutions and of course Roku shifts blame on the cable your are using or something else in the HDMI chain and not their device. Never mind the fact that the cable was working perfectly with the Xbox, I switched cables and inputs on my receiver for thoroughness. Didn't fix the problem. Looking on forums some people noted that this wasn't issue until an update was released. It sounds like this could be fixed with a later update, but how long will that take? Another issue I'm having is their "1-touch," their implementation of the horrendous HDMI-CEC protocol. I have turned off 1-touch in the menu, and no matter what the Roku wants to take control of my receiver. Turn the TV and receiver on to play Xbox? Nope, let's automatically go to the Roku. Blu-ray? Nope, Roku. I've hard reset it and no matter what my receiver automatically switches to the Roku. I've been a fan of Roku's for years now. I'm returning this one.
