Now that I have an OLED TV, I wanted to get certain channels that were unavailable on my OLED. This is one of the best streaming devices to buy.

So many choices of TV shows and movies. I can watch all the old TV shows from decades ago which brings back memories. Would recommend for sure.

The voice system makes it easy to locate content. I can also cast my laptop to a large screen TV and work with Photoshop more efectively.

We paired our newest roku with a universal “made for roku” to manage our soundbar. Best purchase just before the holiday rush.

Great user interface with very functional remote control and cell phone app that doubles as a remote control. Even a nice fish tank screen saver.

Three of them are great and do the job well. However, I have one in my disconnected garage that has poor wifi reception. (My phone and laptop antennas work great for wifi in the garage but the Roku Ultra gets 1/2 bar at times maybe and buffers constantly. So when this "New 2020" version came out I thought for sure it would correct the wifi reception problem because Roku says it has a better antenna. The wifi reception was still the same at 1/2 bar and constant buffering. Again I can view videos on my phone and laptop using wifi without issues in the same location. I can not agree with Roku's claim of a better antenna in this 2020 version.

Other devices currently accessing the network, such as other streaming players, computers, game consoles, and mobile devices may effect the quality of your network connection. You might want to temporarily stop using any such device and check if that makes a difference.
If your router and Roku device both support 5GHz, You could also try connecting to to the 5GHz wireless network for improved network strength.
Alternatively, it may also help to manually change the wireless channel. You can find more details about how to executive this linked in the FAQ article above.

Thinking that the newer device would be faster and have better quality. I am disappointed. It spontaneously resets, and my it doesn't interface with Sony Bravia as good as the old Ultra. My Bravia starts from off instead of standby when I hit the power button on the new remote. My old Ultra allowed the Bravia to go to standby, eliminating the lengthy startup. A bigger disappointment came from Roku chat support. They responded by thing me the remote only controls the Roku, not the TV. Duh! Then disconnected the chat session. The 2nd chat session suggested I check with the tv manufacturer. I don't know what changes were made, but my old Roku worked great with my Sony. This new one doesn't seem to work well. Roku support is poor if you can connect with someone.

I'm extremely happy with the Audio I get !

Took a few minutes to set up, then a few more to get used to it. It is a little different than our smart tv. Sometimes sticks or lags... not sure if it is due to this product or something else but unplugging it for a few minutes to reset it seems to fix the issue.

I was actually surprised how much better my signal is now.
