There is nothing extraordinary about this device. I do not see any difference between roku 3 vs this high end one. The picture clarity is the same. Speed is the same despite tall claims. I would suggest going with basic roku and save money as it will work equally well.

For a while it would stop the show and tell me I needed a new HDMI cord. I replaced the cords and it still would give me the message. I found that if I turned it off and on with the remote the message would go away. Recently it started giving me a one-quarter screen when I watched a movie on Brit Box. I updated the software and turned the device off and on. That worked for one day. I find that I have to unplug the device every other day it seems. I'm thinking of switching to Apple TV and giving up on this one.
