    they all go bad after a year, start rebooting and quality of picture declines. next i probably go for something better

    It’s ok it has had a few hiccups and if you buying it make sure to get the warranty because I’ve had to just stop working before

    After update the remote does not turn tv off and on or adjust the volume. You think with the amount of money we paid for it they would fix that update

    The box worked fine but the remote quit working a week after I purchased it. Roku’s web site offers no phone number or any contact information for parts. I had to take it back to the store and was informed that it was a one time deal unless I purchased the warranty. I thought Roku was a reliable device but a company that only stands behind their product for 2 weeks can’t be very good.

    I like Roku but the upgrade unit is not worth it

    It can be buggy when you try to watch while it is recording the same show. Other than that, I don't see any difference from the less expansive Roku.

    Zoom in when fast forwarding

    When it's working it's great! Some recent bug is causing the picture to zoom in if you fast forward. Also the volume changes between shows.

      Hi there, if the volume is changing dramatically between shows, try enabling or disabling "Volume Leveling" in your settings while you're streaming by pressing *.

    Great streaming box

    If anyone is considering getting one of these used, get it. I bought one when they first came out, and I'm still using it daily nearly 5 years later. Still fast, still has solid video and audio quality, and the remote still makes me happy. We don't use the voice search often and very rarely use headphones with the remote, but when we do use those features they're convenient to have. The RF remote has forever spoiled me ... IR remotes now feel like work!

    Glitchy and somewhat disappointing since my earlier model was less glitchy and my Internet is the fastest Cox offers. No excuse.

    use with comcast it is ok not great. Like the netflix and amazon but the set up is way to long and ask way to many questions

    Fix Volume Issue Please!!

    It has everthing you need but for some reason the volume level is low. I usually keep my volume at 20 but when using the Roku its at 85

    The one I got was garbage. Even hooked up with a ethernet cable instead of through Wi-Fi I had to reset it 50 or 60 times in 4 days. For $70 compared to the $30 that I paid for the Roku stick Plus that only connects with Wi-Fi that is unacceptable. The best thing about the product was the remote with the headset Jack but that's not worth $70.

    Beware before purchasing

    Made this purchase to get the newest updated Roku box so I could give my other previous model to a family member. This model will not play an streaming app channel through and entire program without giving a network connection error. As soon as I acknowledge the error by clicking on the ok button displayed on my tv screen it goes back to what I was watching without any issue. I have made certain all apps are updated as well as the Roku box itself. This did not resolve the issue. I reinstalled my previous box and never experienced this issue. One final note, this issue only happens at the top of the hour when one program is concluding and the other is about to begin. I don’t recommend purchasing this model. Also one final note. I can use the same apps built into my tv without any issue. I only use the Roku box because my LG tv doesn’t support the Spectrum app.

Check the strength of your internet connection by going to Settings > Network > Check connection. This will test the quality of the signal and also measure the speed of that connection, to be sure that you're signal is strong enough.

    Returning after one day

    Roku does not recognized Wired connection and WiFi range isn't great. Roku forums are filled with service requests to resolve the ethernet issue. The only helpful posts are from other users stating to reduce WiFi connection via port switch to 10/100. Returning the thing after a day.

    Too many HDCP errors

    Started out as a great device but quickly became a problem. I wanted a Dolby Vision device and like my Streaming Stick+, no DV, so I spent the money on the Ultra. It worked fine at first...great video/audio...elegant user interface...easy to set up and use...then it didn't work well. I had repeated and sporadic HDCP errors which I couldn't resolve despite following all of Roku's instructions. They have no telephone support so no help from that end and the Roku Community shows many with the same problems. Too bad as I really like the user interface. I returned it and bought a Fire TV Stick 4K, which has DV, and it has worked great without a single HDCP error but their user interface is not as good as Roku's.
