    Not worth the extra money, just get the rocky stick or express and you will be fine

    Picture quality was a bit poorer than I’d like. My tv produced better color than this unit did.

If you haven’t already, verify that your TV is compatible by looking for an HMDI port labeled with "HDCP 2.2".     The Roku Ultra has an issue with initial setup and can only connect via WiFi instead of wired. I confirmed this with two units purchased at Best Buy. Customer service is absolutely terrible! I purchased Roku units waaaaaaay back when they first came out and the company has gone downhill ever since.

    Roku media player needs lots of improvement. It frequently hangs and won’t fast forward

    I bought three. 2 have had problems of which one is unusable. Found out after purchase, best buy has a 15 day return. After that, it cannot be returned. I am not impressed with Roku quality and will not purchase any further products from Best Buy. 15 day return is ridiculous. I would have gotten them directly from Roku. Add to this, Roku won't work with YouTube tv. This has been a bad experience all the way around. Makes anything else bought from any other store a safer choice!

    Sync issues

    Ran into a Sync issue that took many hours to resolve. Its a known issue but Roku support has abdicated solving it leaving the "Community" to propose all sorts of solutions that I had to work through one at a time until I stumbled upon the fix.

    Terrible Experience!

    Set it up and all was fine. Very fast! We used it for 1 day. Had sound issues. We had to turn the sound way up to a very high setting to hear it. It was bad. Then the next day I restarted it and it wouldn't boot up. It just sat there with the annoying startup sound with the light blinking. I returned it and got another one. I had the exact same problem with the second one!! You set one up, bad sound then when I rebooted it wouldn't reboot. It would just sit there. Very bad experience!!! Don't buy this!

    I think Roku missed the mark on the 2020 Ultra

    I have the 2019 and 2020 versions of the ultra and I don't understand why but I have had so many more issues with the newer one. I seem to have to restart the unit at least once a week because Netflix or something else won't play. I've also had sound issues and video problems too.
