This version is excellent! I personally sought this one instead of rechargeable remote. Otherwise hardware is the same. The best Uktra I have owned! No crash issues.

Easy to use, more affordable than an AppleTV and has AirPlay. Also for I was interested in using Apple TV+ app. I bought it to replace my Roku 4 - after 5 years I needed a new device.

Me: Apple TV Wife: Roku TV... I wanted a Apple TV for the bedroom, but the wife likes Roku's interface better. Happy wife equals a happy life! In all seriousness though, this works excellent and picture quality on our LG C1 is fantastic. It's not as snappy as Apple TV, but it's still fast enough. We stream TV with YouTube TV and there are no issues. HBO Max, Paramount +, Peacock TV and all the other common apps work fine. Recommend over the wireless sticks when streaming, if you can run an ethernet cable to it.

Love it. This was an upgrade from older Roku. It performs very well, easy set up easy to navigate. So many settings, channels, etc.. Very happy with price as well.

I think Roku is the best device for streaming on the market. I've been using Roku devices for years and have one on every tv, even on an a Toshiba Fire TV. The new Ultra is great. The picture on my tv is noticeably better than the previous version and even that looked pretty darn good. I have mine hooked up to ethernet, which surely helps streaming strength and picture quality. The wireless might see a decrease, but I didn't have any issues with the old model Ultra, so I think this would outperform even that. If you're tired of hooking up you laptop to your tv or dealing with air play or chromecast or the on-tv apps, Roku is the way to go.

Wow Wow Wow . This one is fast. Super quick and simple navigation and loading of the streaming apps. Bonus that this works fabulous with my home theater set up. Both Netflix and Hulu have superb surround sound. Cant say much for discovery + sound as it not transmitted in surround. Thumbs down Discovery + !!! I do have it wired so can not review the wireless capability but i have the streaming stick + and its wireless is fantastic. I would anticipate the same wireless speed from this one. Don't hesitate on this as it's much better than the firestick.

Got this one to replace a Rokubolultra WITH NO Dolby Vision. Dolby Vision works great on this unit. Also is a little faster than the 2019 unit. If you have a capable DV tv, get it.

Great device! Easy to use, very fast. Had it for another TV and loved it so much, I replaced an Amazon FireTv on my extra TV with this one.

I love the Roku-Ultra. It works great, doesn't lose the signal, very easy to use and add apps to (Netflix, Discovery+, iheart radio) and the remote is user friendly. I so happy with the Roku-Ultra, I'm replacing an expensive, crappy Apple 4K with another Roku-Ultra.

Purchased a 2020 Ultra to support Dolby Vision and a few minor enhancements from previous models. Easy to setup and get connected to equipment. Using a Harmony Elite to control.

Roku products are so consistent and easy to use. Needed to control volument and the Mute on this remote is perfect. Enjoying my 4th Roku purchase.

You can hook up to the Ethernet with an Ethernet cord, so that you have direct internet instead of using the WiFi. This makes the speed faster than with the stick. You have a Lost Remote Finder button. If you lose your remote, just push the button on the Roku device and the remote will beep, probably between the cushions of the couch or places you think you would never put the device. Set up is easy. Use an HDMI cable from the Roku device to your TV and follow the on-screen instructions. You will have access to 100s of different "channels" for your viewing pleasure.

This is the second of these units I have purchased. The first has been in use for a couple years and when an older model AppleTV started to stream poorly in the master bedroom I decided to replace it with another Roku. These units stream well without excessive waits before streaming begins; and I've never had to wait for rebuffering during a stream. The sound quality meets my expectations. The second unit surprised me in that I didn't have to install all the apps that were on the original. I logged the unit into my Roku account and they were automatically present. I wasn't expecting that; but I was very glad that it worked that way. The user interface may not be as polished as an AppleTV, but it works as well or better. As an aside, I still have a working 4K AppleTV that I'm completely happy with. I just didn't see extra value commensurate with the much higher price.

We bought this Roku to upgrade from a previous model. This one is so much faster and easier to use. We are very happy with this purchase and may buy a second one soon.

Very easy to setup. seems faster than some of my older units. I like the idea of the new buttons for favorite channels and lost remote finder.

I bought this model to replace a Roku stick that burned out after 2 yrs. This model Roku player seems to have faster response and very easy to set up account and pair with my tv.
