    Roku seems to reset often disrupting the program

    Easy to set up and easy to operate. But fails often when streaming shows from Disney+ and Motor Trend. Watching along and the box seems to reset back to the aquarium screen which appears at power up. About 50% chance of failure if I use pause and reverse buttons. Never get the same problem with iPad.

    Do NOT buy this Roku until they fix the audio issues. This is my second Ultra, I had one from a few years ago, but so far I'm NOT very happy with this one and it's probably going back. Just received it last week and used it to watching a football game this past weekend. It was unusable. I play it through my receiver and the audio kept dropping out for a glitch repeatedly. I tried all the different sound settings, same issue. Check the forums and apparently it's a common problem with this model. Wrote to 'customer service" and all you get back is useless copied and pasted FAQs that don't even answer what I asked. What a horrible company. Buyer Beware!

    I install many high tech things for a living. I always recommend Roku devices whenever clients ask. I have at least 8 Roku devices that I have used personally. All have been great until I bought an Ultra for a close friend. The first one would not load Apple TV+. Roku replaced it after much back and forth. The one they sent is OK, but Amazon Prime Video always has the audio out of synch with the video. This must be the one model that was a fail. I install the newer stick models and everyone loves them. This is not worth the premium price.

      Hi DRiffinAZ, thanks for taking a moment to share and being a long-time fan of ours. Regarding the audio sync issue that you described during playback, does this happen only on Amazon Prime Video or does it happen on other channels too?

      If it's only on one channel, you'll want to try uninstalling the channel, restarting your Roku, and reinstalling the channel. If you're seeing this on multiple channels, you may want to chat with our support team at support.roku.com/contactus so that we can assist you directly.

    Works most of the time. Have trouble with Airplay often. Many of the free programs are not truly free on their app.

    A few months after receiving the unit, I started getting frequent HDCP errors, requiring the unit to be rebooted to view content. I submitted a trouble ticket with Roku. I followed all of their trouble-shooting steps, and the problem persisted. The first contact to support was in early March. The last update from support was on April 20. Their reply was "We wanted to let you know that we are continuing to investigate your reported issue and hope to provide you a more detailed update when additional information is available." I have emailed them repeatedly, with no further response. At no point has Roku offered to replace the unit. Note that Best Buy is unable to help unless you purchased a Geek Squad warranty.

    If you are looking for a fair streaming device then get a Roku Ultra. It is slow, the 4K looks OK, the WiFi is poor I finally had to hard wire it to my router to get a fair connection. It bothers me they keep resetting the "Theme" that I set.

    Roku has begun to randomly remove channels. Spectrum is no longer available. Customer support offers no explanation other than to play the blame game. We all know who loses when customers are pitted against big corporations. What will be the next channels to be removed Netflix’s, Amaozon Prime ? In this day in age you have to ask yourself. Do I really need a Roku when most smart TV all have streaming capability's to stream your favored providers app.

    USB Option is a FAILURE!

    I am an avid Roku customer and have a device on every TV I own. I recently upgraded to the new Roku Ultra and discovered the USB option using Roku Media Player does not work on the newest model (works perfectly fine with older Roku versions with a USB port). Returned the first device thinking it was an isolated defect. Same problem with the second unit. Ended up returning the second device for a full refund. Roku Customer Service and Tech Support was TERRIBLE! Something is terribly wrong with the new Roku Ultra and/or Roku Media Player and no one there will assume responsibility.

    No HDMI cord!

    Sitting here in my robe on a Sunday morning ready to watch Sling. TRIED to setup through roku but they didn't think to mention THE HDMI CORD IS NOT INCLUDED. Trash thing to do.

    No Fubo TV trial and disappointed with Bestbuy

    I'm not doing a review of the Item as I purchase 2 of them and so far I like the Ruko Ultra. What i'm not happy with is Bestbuy giving a 30 trial of Fubo and not sending the code to redeem it then spending 5 hrs on the phone multiple calls then getting a code that doesn't work and told to wait 24-48 hours and again no code, I'm done not calling again it was a nightmare dealing with these people.

    Poor audio with ear buds.

    I don't like it! I'm hard of hearing. I can't adjust the audio level high enough to hear comfortably with my ear buds. The voice command only works one time and then needs to be set up again. My old ROKU worked just fine, Also could not figure out how to easily toggle from ROKU to satellite TV.       If you're still experiencing trouble with the audio volume level while wearing headphones, we would recommend trying a different set of headphones or utilizing our mobile app.

      Not all headphones are created equally, therefore, different headphones may yield different outputs for you. As a quick tip, always be sure to unplug your headphones from your Roku remote when not in use. This will help conserve your remote's battery life.

      Additionally, plugging your headphones into your phone and utilizing private listening via our mobile app may also be a better fit for your preferences.

    I have repeatedly requested assistance in connecting this device and have gotten NO where. All they want is $$ to set an appointment that cost too much - when all I need is to ask a question and get an answer. I cannot review the device because it is not in use. If I ever get it in use, I may like it. At this rated it will go out of style before I am able to use it.

    Bait and switch

    Purchased several Roku devices to run on all of my TV. I use You Tube TV (checked to make sure they support which they did) and now they stopped supporting You Tube TV? Every other streaming service does. Frustrated that I bought Roku now it is garbage. Feels like a bait and switch. Will never purchase Roku anything again.

    I had one of these. I returned right away! The volume is way to low, and when is wanted to play movies from my flash drive I kept getting a frustrating message saying to make sure the drive was in the usb port, which of course it already was. Roku 3 worked much better.
